If your house isn't connected to the power grid, you experience frequent power outages, or you have a medical need that requires constant power, then a battery backup system may be for you. Our systems can run your well, ductless heat pump, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, lights, plugs, TVs, computers and internet.
Replacing 12,000 kWh with solar panels saves the same amount of carbon dioxide as 231 trees in each year. I unfortunate was unable to use their products but their customer service is excellent. Even in the Pacific Northwest, we get at least 15% or our electrical power from coal, and another 28% from natural gas. Each year, generating 150,000 kWh saves the same amount of carbon dioxide as planting almost 3000 trees. We did this 32 kW install on a new south-facing outbuilding. By feeding six 5 kW inverters into a subpanel tying, Iowa Hills Farm is able to generate 250 kWh in one sunny day.
Sure, we have our cloudy days, but solar isn't about heat, it's about light. Oregon and the Pacific Northwest have some of the better solar radiance in the country. What's more, Oregon has some of the best incentives of any state in the country (#4 in the nation in 2017). There's only one way to find out.

Josh helped us get our system back up and running. It’s an Auric system and had stopped reporting. We were frustrated because Auric left Oregon and they weren’t responding to our requests for help. Josh at DPI was AMAZING! He was so helpful! He walked us through, step by step, to do what we needed to do to so he could accurately identify the problem. Once identified, he found the replacement parts for us and instructed us how to remove defective parts and install new parts. We are so happy with our solar panels. DPI Solar came highly recommended by our CPA. Not only have we saved hundreds of dollars in the last two years on our energy costs, but DPI customer service is outstanding. If we ever have a question, or we need something checked, Josh is right there. He is easy to contact. If we have to leave a message, he calls right back. Josh goes the extra mile to educate us, and takes time to answer our questions.

Josh did a fantastic job. We just finished our first full ear of solar power. The 8 KWH system performed to calculations. we did not pay anything in the 12 months except the $11.50 per month hook up fee to PGE.
We are on track for a 9 year full payback. Besides of the increased value to the home. Great company, and when PGE inspector came out, prior to use being able to run the system, he was amazed at the quality of the installation. A great company!

I got connected to DPI through Energy Trust of Oregon. DPI's quote was very competitive and of the installers I spoke with I was most impressed with DPI's track record. Everything on DPI's side happened right on schedule and they handled all of the approval and rebate paperwork. Josh was very responsive and worked with me to make sure that all of my questions and concerns were addressed.
