Horrible customer service. We paid to have a backup generator installed last month. After the installation was complete we expected someone would give us information on the operation and maintenance of the generator but that has never happened. After the install, everyone just left. We have contacted Pioneer by phone and email multiple times and… they have told us someone would come back to answer all of our questions. No one ever contacted us or came. We don't even know if the generator is operating. I cannot recommend this company based on our experience.

We used Pioneer a couple of summers ago to fix our HVAC unit. They came in and "fixed" it. Within the week the unit was not functioning again. They came back out and decided it was something else. They gave us an estimate for the part and the time they thought it would take to fix. The technician came back out and replaced the part and it didn't take him the amount of time they quoted yet they still asked for the quoted price... if I remember correctly it took him about 2 hours to do a job they estimated would take much longer. I called them and disputed the charges and they DID

We let them install a new system. They put holes in the wall and said they would send out a tech to fix. They have since ignored our calls after they recieved payment.

This is based off last two service calls made to Pioneer.

First visit we were told our furnace needed a part that they would have to order and I would receive a phone call when the part was in to schedule service. I received a phone call 3 days later, that I missed but i returned the call within 5 minutes. The tech had already pulled in our parking lot, didn't knock on the door and left. I had to schedule an appointment for the next day.

Second visit. Tech arrived the same day as scheduled. Told us mini split could not be repaired and charged us $120. I called Davis Heating who came

The Duke had been sweating his nuts off waiting on some place outta west knoxville to come fix the AC unit in my outbuilding behind the house. Like, for real, my crotch funk looked and smelled like a dirty jar of dukes mayo that had been left out in the sun for a year and a half. Anyways, once I come to my senses and realized the address of the place I called was in the 37934 zip code, I immediately cancelled the service call. I called this company early Friday evening for AC repair. I talked to a tech and was told we would be the second appointment on Saturday morning. Having not heard from them by noon we called to make sure we were still on the schedule. We reached the answering service and were told that the tech would call us back. So after no response we called again about two hours later, same routine, no response. It is now 6:45pm and we have wasted our whole Saturday waiting for someone who not only didn't show up, but never even gave us the courtesy of a phone call. I would not call this business again

Since they were based in Knoxville--I live about 8 miles away, I figured it wouldn't take them that long to come.

No one showed. Finally after waiting in the high heat and humidity for no one to show, I called again and now the answering service made some stupid excuse.

I'd pass this one by. It seems as soon as a company is established, then they get too smug and don't show up.

I live in Farragut, TN. Over the past 10 years or so I have called on Pioneer more than 5 times and on each occasion the tech who Pioneer sent to my family's home was courteous, knowledgeable, and skillful in taking care of our needs. Not once have I gotten a high-pressure sales job. But each time I've called Pioneer for help, my heating or A/C problem has been addressed to our satisfaction.

I should mention, too, that I have enjoyed friendly and efficient customer service from the phone staff each time I have called.

Came home 2 days ago to 64 degree house. Cranked up the heat to 72...at 9PM still at 64. Called Pioneer yesterday morning; they showed up yesterday afternoon - and repaired the furnace! Great guys, very knowledgeable, very respectful of the house. Phil Williams Show was right...they're the best. And they offer 24 hour service. Hope I don't need 'em again, but know who I'll call if I do!

After 4 years of problems with a new HVAC unit, I finally found a company that was knowledgeable, friendly, and above all ethical. They were exceptional front the first phone call up until they called me the day after repair to ask if I was satisfied. These days that is extremely rare. Every person I spoke with was professional and kind with sincerity. Do not waste time with any other company. Call Pioneer first and get the job done right the first time. I had previously dealt with 2 other companies who did not. Thank you to everyone at Pioneer for all their help and compassion!
