They prepared a proposal and sent to me for review and sign and return via email. The day they came to reroof the house they showed up early and they draped the house in the front and back so nothing could fall and hit the house. They also put a sheet of plywood in front of glass doors and lights on the garage so they were protected. The roofing supplies and dumpster then came. They were very efficient with removing the old roofing shingles and installing the new shingles. When finish with the roofing, they cleaned up anything the fell on the yard and used a magnet tool to pickup any nails around

Just got the shingles redone. Received excellent information to consider, and choices. Totally responsive to all questions.
Said will show up at a certain time. And did, and got right to work.
The people worked very well together, were friendly, considerate.
The speed they all worked at was amazing, no dawdling, AND not too fast. They knew what they were doing, and worked as a well oiled team

Had my insurance adjuster out after Hurricane Florence and was approved for a new roof. After getting a few quotes, a family member recommended On Tops Roofing as he had seen them in his neighborhood and was impressed with their work. They were very responsive to my quote request and gave me a great price right away that ended up beating the competition easily in both price and standard options. Jonathan was easy to work with and was very responsive to my questions for days before I agreed to move forward. They had a sales guy out to the house the next day for a quote. He brought samples and walked me through the entire process. Gave me a quote on the spot.
I was waiting for a 2nd quote, but that vendor was like 10 days on the response time, so they lost before they ever had a chance. After I had contracted On Tops, they came back at like $300 under, but I had no trust or confidence based on the first impression.

I look around and asked for several estimates from large to small companies, and I have selected ON TOPS ROOFING because:
1)I wanted "designer" shingles which are thicker and more difficult to install than "architectural" shingles, and I wanted the best workmanship warranty. ON TOPS roofing has done a lot of "designer" shingle roofs and is a GAF Master Elite contractor since a long time with a very large volume of installed GAF shingles. And because they are Master Elite

I was considering replacing my roof a couple years ago and scheduled On Tops for an estimate. He failed to show up twice and while waiting I repaired the roof myself.
Recently I decided to go ahead and replace it and contacted a few contractors for bids. After a couple of weeks I decided to hire a contractor but then On Tops finally replied and said they'd bid so i held off on my decision to wait for their bid. It took a week but they showed up to measure my house and said they'd have a price in a couple days. It's been over 3 weeks and still no reply. What a waste of my time
