From the get-go Sean took the time to talk me through what he thought the problem might be with my HVAC system, gave me options to consider, helped me choose one that fit my budget, and proceeded to work quickly to get his guys out for an install of a new system (my current one was 22 years old and would've cost more to repair than replace). I feel like he had my best interest in mind, didn't push me to buy more than I needed, and treated me like a valued customer. The phone representative was very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. The technician came out promptly and diagnosed the problem (which confirmed our preliminary diagnosis). He had to return with a new fan motor and did so within a couple of hours. He was very professional and worked quickly to return our heat to normal.

This review is based on two occasions, first occasion I had called them to come and flush the boiler, which the guy came and did, and he did a great job. Next time they came and the guys were knowledgeable and nice dudes, however they ended up adding 8way boiler liquid to my boiler which is fine and dandy, but they ended up putting way too much which caused a lot of surging on my boiler, I'm not the only one who has this issue see link here.

They overcharged me. Also, they pretended to be a Navien authorized dealer/installer. Their answers to my direct questions were evasive.
We needed to have our tankless heater replaced. I initially contacted 3 companies including Hollub.
Talked to Travis. Very pleasant and professional. Talked to Mike who was nice on the first call. I told him we had a Quiet Side unit that was not functioning and if not repairable, we were interested in a Navien tankless heater for our basement floor radiant heat. He recommended we go with Weil-McLain. He said it was better than Navien and stainless

Thank you Hollub Heating, Inc. for not having traveling restrictions, unlike the company I purchased the unit from. Oddly, they didn’t have a problem traveling to my area to sell me their product, but coming out to service it was out of their district. Hollub sent a technician out the same day I called. The technician was courteous and professional.Thanks again for exceptional service.
PS: I later received a phone call from Hollub stating that they made a mistake quoting my bill and to my surprise the amount was less than the original amount. NOW THAT’S RARE!!!!

I have been using Hollub Heating for over 20 years, having them come by every year for a 'check-up' of my home heating and airconditioning. In addition, I'll call them when there's a breakdown (which always seems to occur during weather extremes). Believe me, in a field with a lot of barely competent players who promise all sorts of reliable work and try to sell you something you don't need, Hollub stands head and shoulders above them all. Very nice gentlemen came out within less than 24 hours of my call fixed my issue in just a few minutes! He also gave me great advice on what filters to use and general upkeep/maintenance. He even showed me how to fix the issue myself should it happen again! AND THEN he gave me some great advice on a roof leaking issue I've been having around my HVAC piping. I've been going back and forth with my condo board for a year and got more from this gentleman in a few minutes than I ever have from them and their repairmen. Definitely plan on using them again for our other properties and recommending

We were in a crisis. Our A/C compressor went out, and it was the middle of summer. Oh, and we had a newborn due the week it went out. I just bought a condo downtown, and they even came out and solved a difficult duct design problem in a giant condo building.

Eleven years ago, Hollub Heating replaced my old water heater with a new unit, which had been working perfectly ever since. However, I decided it was better to replace it before I had a problem -- eleven years is a long time, after all. So I called Hollub again, and asked them to install a new water heater and remove the old one. I live on the 4th floor of a condo building with no elevator, only a narrow spiral staircase, which made the removal and installation such a challenge.

This place literally saved us 3k! We had an issue in our condo with the heater.
Called Aircor for repair due to their awesome Yelp reviews.. They said they needed to replace a part, so they did, but they didn't fix what caused that to fail. We ended up calling them back for repair two weeks later. They said we needed to replace the heater entirely and that it would run us 3k. We decided to get a second opinion.
Called Hollub Heating because they originally did the work for our building years ago. They were super nice, there in less than 24-hours. They found that there was insulation

Watch out for the up sell. We called for my sisters furnace went it was having problems....they came out and said it needed replacement for 4000-6000$ because the heat exchange was cracked and the furnace was more than 20 years old. Got a second opinion and the new new furnace guy replaced a 149$ part and it runs perfectly! Shame on you Hollub for the up sell.

Would never use them again. Replaced the motor in the blower of my in wall heater unit in my condo and the performance of the unit was not the same. Tech who came to my home was very nice and polite and was very knowledgeable. When I called to report my dissatisfaction with the fact that there was barely any air blowing out of the vent, I was rudely interrupted, and was told there was nothing more they could do. I don't believe the same part was replaced or if anything was replaced. $500 for crap.

Hollub has completed a couple of jobs for us in our building. The most recent one was to replace a non-working oversized furnace in the unit that the previous owner had installed. They explained several reasons as to why the furnace may not be working, gave us several options for the new furnace, were on time, professional and easy to work with. Hopefully I won't need them again for awhile. But if I have any more furnace issues, I will be calling them.

Scheduled a cleaning of a furnace for a 4 hour window on a Weds. Received a call from dispatch saying that although there was still 30 minutes left in our window, and they had a man free, we would have to pay overtime to get the work done today. HUH??
The woman replied that the tech already had an 8 hour day and that if we wanted to get our job done today, we had to pay him more. I had a bad experience this morning with this company, They came to my house to do the clean and check service for my A/C unit, They charged me $125 for the first 30 minutes and $60 for the next 30 minutes, the guy that came to my house was wasting the time at the beginning and then sprayed some water at the coil, they charged me $185 to waste the time and they said the need to come back later to finish the job.
So I don't recommend this company They are scammers on their prices.
