Back in 1947, Joseph Frederick started a small plumbing business on his front porch in Brack-Ex, on the edge of Elsmere. In April of 2014, brothers Brian and Robbie Frederick celebrated the 68th anniversary of Joseph Frederick & Sons, which has grown and expanded from a "one-man, one-truck" business into a multimillion-dollar organization, providing residents of the Delaware Valley with plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical services.

Tim did a fantastic job today. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it efficiently. He was very knowledgeable and professional. This company has done plumbing and HVAC work on our home and we could not speak more highly of them. The invention of air conditioning all began in 1902 as Willis Carrier stood in a foggy train platform in Pittsburgh.

We have been using Joseph Frederick and sons for 15 years and they NEVER disappoint. Our AC went out yesterday and they fixed it promptly today without issue! The office staff answering the phones are knowledgeable and friendly. Kevin (who typically does our service) is the absolute BEST!! He will stay late at work to be able to squeeze us in. Joseph Frederick and Sons installed our new HVAC system. It didn’t work as expected, but they were committed to making us happy! They certainly went above and beyond to make sure the new equipment was working properly and that everything in our old house was done correctly (which of course it wasn’t!). Their dedication and professionalism was wonderful.

I got two split systems AC installed for my upstairs and it solved a long problem ,it is so comfortable now . I no longer have to put window AC units in my windows anymore. The system jos. Frederick put in are very quiet .you barely hear it. The guys who put it in were Roger and Rudy and they were very friendly clean and respectful . Showed up on… time and finished the job when they said they would. It was hot as hell so hats off to those guys working in the attic to get it done. Lived without heat for most of the weekend and paid for an emergency visit on Sunday. Had to order a new ignition. Spent $100 extra to get it here by today, Tuesday. Had the new part installed at 3:30 pm. Worked until about 8:30 and now it's broke again. Pretty sure $1100 plus emergency visit cost is not a deal for 5 hours worth of heat. And now we get to sleep without heat for yet another night!!!

My 15-year-old AC began to fail just before the beginning of a predicted long and severe heat wave. After doing some quick but extensive research into repair vs. replace, and into the various makes, models, and installers, I decided ultimately to purchase a new Carrier AC from Jos. Had Ken W (HVAC PM Tech) come to my home this morning- Spring AC tune-up. He also serviced my home in the Fall for Winter Heat tune-up. I have had service calls and my HVAC system replaced by Joseph Fredrick and sons. I am so happy with the work, and the service technicians are wonderful. I thought I needed a new hot water heater, and when the service tech looked at it, he was honest and told me it was fine. That means so much when you can trust the company to be honest.
