King of Maids, LLC was founded back in May of 2013 by Filip Boksa and Kamil Kowalkowski in Chicago, IL. Since then we expanded to other cities across the US such as New York, NY, Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, and more. Our goal from the very beginning was to bring simplicity and convenience for those who are looking to get home cleaning services.

We've used King of Maids a number of times now. They've been thorough and efficient. They pay attention to detail and have listened to our specific requests in cleaning our home. It's also been convenient to be able to book appointments with them online. That's made it easier to manage the appointment and reschedule if needed. We recently changed booking monthly appointments, which has saved us some money. Their pricing seems to be competitive with other services in the Chicago area.

I've had a great experience with multiple people who have been sent to clean my home. They work fast but well. They were very flexible when I needed to update the cleaning schedule and as an added bonus accept credit card as payment so I can keep a record. Highly recommend. The basic cleaning covers a lot and at a frequency you get a discount. Added items are reasonably priced if more is needed than what's covered in the basic package.

Our friends gifted us a cleaning service after the arrival of our baby and we were so impressed we booked a monthly recurring cleaning. I really like that you get assigned the same cleaner each time. Cenice did a fantastic job both times she's been here so far and is very pleasant and friendly. Our home was so clean after! Customer service has also been great.

I have been an extremely satisfied King of Maids customer for several years. They are a reliable cleaning service and 100% the most reasonably priced. I have only had positive experiences with the cleaning crews assigned to clean my place. Not to mention their customer service is always on top of things - Meredith and Maui have always taken great care of me and are very responsive!

A reliable cleaning Company, that typically has good service across multiple providers. I will continue to use King of Maids. Only reason for a one star deduction is occasionally I feel like the cleaner does not mop or swiffer the floors, although in these instances the floors are swept/vacuumed well. But this has only happened a couple times.

I wouldn't recommend King of Maids. I called in and scheduled an appointment for someone to come clean my 1 bedroom apartment and KOM confirmed the appointment. Well fast forward to the day of the appointment I sat at home and waited for about 90 minutes from the original scheduled time and no one showed up, so I decided to call in. I was able to reach someone who said that the provider claims they showed up but the building was abandoned so they left, which is really weird since I live in a 26 story brand new high rise. The man I spoke to on the phone tried his best to attempt to help but

I have worked with King of Maids on two occasions. Both times, the women who came to clean my apartment did an excellent job. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the first woman's name, as it was quite a while ago, but my most recent experience was with Brandy.
Brandy was fantastic! She was kind, communicative and responsive. My boyfriend and i used this company a year ago for a deep clean on our house before family came in town. Meridith who helped setup the appt was easy to work with and had great communication.
After the cleaning, we noticed the same cleaning issues that several reviewers have mentioned...no dusting, certain areas not wiped down, just things that were very noticeable which shouldn't have been missed. First time using their service and they already cancelled the original time. Gave me a discount -which was nice -but did not make up for the fact that I came home to a poorly cleaned house, after being very specific about the floors and dust needing the most attention. In fact, there was absolutely NO attention to detail. The fans were dirty. The corners of the floors were filled with hair balls. The bookshelf was still dusty in the back. Ellen is now my priority cleaner from there because she is so detailed with her work and very sweet. If you have a flexible schedule for a weekend cleaning, request Ellen! She does get booked quickly. You will not regret it. I have a cat too, and she is fine with cats and dogs.

We used them for a move out cleaning. First I am so grateful they were able to accommodate me in their schedule within a 3 day notice. Ginger was more than fantastic, I told her we had just 2 hours to do a basic move out cleaning nothing too deep, and she was more than good. She made sure to clean as much as the house as she could, she even cleaned the fridge. For one cleaning person with a 3100 sq feet home and just 2 hours of cleaning she definitely exceeded my expectations.

They didn't show up to two appointments. It's just that simple. You cannot trust this company to do what they say.
After my first appointment was missed, they offered me 15% off. After the second one, they offered me 50% off. I wonder how many times a maid doesn't need to show up until I get a free cleaning?

How they have 4.5 stars amazes me. If you read any of the negative reviews. They are ridiculously correct [i should have been warned...]
I signed up for a deep clean since my house hasn't been professionally cleaned [their recommendation.] the checklist seemed thorough and I was eager to see the results.

Just completed a large remodel for a property in Dallas. The house needed a thorough cleaning top to bottom for the buyer walk thru and we decided to use King of Maids. They must have chosen their best maid for this project because they sent Tamesha.
Tamesha was prepared and organized to do a thorough job. She even had molly bolts to hang the smoke detector! She insisted I do a final walk thru to be certain everything was acceptable. The next time I need a maid or need to recommend one, it will be Tamesha with King of Maids.
