Update to my review from 2 years ago ...... after the 2021 freeze and related remodeling, we contacted Armondo to request some new sensors and motion detector since we were still using some old equipment from prior security company. We received a prompt response and the same excellent service that we received at the time of our initial installation. Couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend Central Security!

I spoke with Armando. He was cordial and professional. It was agreed my current system would need to be assessed. He would try to get a man out that day. He would check. Heard nothing. Called back. "Oh, yeah! I forgot. Let me try him again." Same thing again. No call. The third time he said his guy could not come out until the next week. I told him to call to arrange a date and time. No call... Does not bode well for future relations. Went with another company. Seems like a mom and pop operation.

I contacted Armando because of the high rating he received from Yelp. And he was just like what was said about him: polite, down to earth, providing honest opinions and reasonable price, and not selling you anything that you don't need. He converted an existing land-phone based alarm system to a web-based one, and the system works well! I like his business model of not having middle men or contractors. Even though I am bounded by any multi-year contract, I may stay with Central Security for a long time.

Armando is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had trouble with my Honeywell Alarm communicator and he was able to diagnose and provide the solution over the phone and a technician's contact info for by the hour service just in case that didn't heal it. (it did) I found CS here on Yelp and I found him to be as wonderful as all these reviews say he is. As soon as my monitoring contract expires later this year, I'll be signing up with Central Security so they can provide my monitoring and service going forward. I found Central security on Yelp, they are the best and most reviewed. Armando was easy to contact and scheduled the appointment by txt. Came, fixed some existing wiring issues, added a cell transmitter with smartphone app capabilities, added additional motion sensors, added alarm panel in bedroom, and everything is up and running within 1.5hrs. We just pay a flat $30 monthly fee for cell and alarm monitoring. No need to get a landline. The alarm pays for itself after home insurance savings so there is no reason not to arm yourself. A+++

Scott from Central Security has installed systems in my house and two of our offices. He's professional, efficient, and always available. The pricing is fair. They can even use parts of your existing system if you have one.
The monthly monitoring fee is much less if you are a business when compared to the big guys. Our business monitoring bill is $1200 per year less. You do pay for some equipment costs up front, but you'll make it up fast-- so you're not paying for equipment month after month even after it's paid off-- like a mobile phone contract.

I decided to go with Central Security for my security needs based off the yelp reviews. I am so glad I've chosen Central Security!! Armando was AWESOME. The customer service I received was above and beyond. Armando showed up on time, greeted me with a positive attitude, explained the service I signed up for and was patient with showing me how to use my new alarm system (I've never had one before) he was very professional. My apartment got broken into this weekend and after numerous reviews and research I called Central Security to get a home security system installed. I spoke with Armando and he was very helpful. Unfortunately my stupid apartment complex (West U btw) does not allow any sort of wiring and requires a complete wireless system so it didn't end up working out.

I like to think I am fairly informed about alarm products available to the average consumer. I did my research and personally bought my own 2Gig equipment, which is a commonly used system. I am very specific about my needs and had a difficult time finding a professional installer who was knowledgeable about my system and how to integrate my existing home automation setup. Fabulous company and service. Don't confuse them with "Central Security Group", who uses high pressure tactics, long contracts, huge fees.
Armando set up my system and helped me understand everything. He also helped me with connectivity problem I had due to weak ATT&T WiFi signal. Cannot recommend this company more highly.

I've personally met and dealt with Armando, Felipe, and Scott from Central Security. Each one is very professional and has addressed my questions and needs. I've had Protection One, Alarm Masters, and ADT at my home and business locations and CS has been the best experience hands down.
