We guarantee, if you are not satisfied with the job we have done, we will come back and re-clean the areas missed within 24 hours. We also guarantee that if you are not happy with the maid that has been assigned to you for any reason whatsoever, you may request change of staff until you have found the perfect fit.
Please call NY Maids to have a copy filled in with the appropriate certificate holder at least 2 business days before your service. This copy is only for confirmation that NY Maids carries current insurance, but cannot be used in your job. You must request another copy with the pertaining certificate holder parties named.
Independent Contractor Maid Services avoid this liability by passing it onto unsuspecting Customers. Make sure you only hire from companies that send you actual Employees to avoid getting sued by an Independent Contractor that does not carry Workers Comp or possibly audited and fined by The Workers comp, Labor, unemployment, and IRS.
If needed, for an additional charge ($29.95 for Express Maid Service and Spring Cleaning packages), we can bring supplies & cleaning equipment in a company van/vehicle. If you have a store nearby, your Maid will be happy to buy any supplies you need. Simply leave her some cash in an envelope labeled "supplies" otherwise, she may confuse it as a tip.

Great Experience!!! I hadn't been to my apartment for some time and when I arrived I was shocked, the dust from the open windows left soot everywhere and the bathroom flood from the upstairs apartmenrt, I knew I needed help fast .... called NY Maids.
The next day on the dot, all three arrived and went to work immediately. They brought all their own cleaning supplies, vacum with a special filter (better than a hepa) and cleaned from windows to inside fridge, from top to bottom, spotlessly.
They wore masks throughout the 3 hours. Very important for these times.

For starters, Ricardo is amazing!!! So professional! He finds (and eliminates) dirt in places I didn't even know existed. I have worked with Ricardo and Maria and New York Maids for over four years. Cynthia and Ivan appeared exactly at 9 a.m. They were friendly, professional, and accommodating, since I was working in the apartment. They did everything I asked and more. Post construction cleaning. The crew of three arrived right on time. Scheduling had been easy and flexible. The crew was friendly and communicated easily when I asked for certain things to be done. We were unable to stay during the three hours that they worked, but when we returned that night to check it out we were very happy. They did a top notch job! The person who scheduled the job called to follow up to make sure we were pleased. He let me know that the crew worked 30 minutes extra to get everything done....no charge. We left each worker a nice tip to show our gratitude for their hard work

Ricardo and Juliana did a wonderful job on a studio apartment housing a friend of ours on the lower West side. This was an apartment in need of a cleaning SWAT team...years of grime, dust and more. They were on-time, put their all into the job, and were even able to remove what we thought were indelible stains. The price was right in the zone, the managers were courteous and very clear about all of the setup particulars. We will use this company again.

Needed service to help rid of all the pesticide dust from the exterminator treatments. Used this service this week and a different service previous week for my studio apartment. Completely night and day. The hourly rate here is consistent with what I expected. Even though it was a 4 hour minimum for home cleaning, Ricardo did an insanely spectacular job and was worth every penny and then some. It was like I walked into a brand new apartment. For an extremely thorough cleaning, this is it. For a simple routine house clean, a four hour job is probably not needed depending on size of your unit.

Let's just say that when I took NY Maids to Small Claims Court, the clerk said "Are you SERIOUS?" And she actually added an interest fee onto the amount they owed because they had taken so long to deal with the situation.
(Oh - and they never showed up for the small claims court appointment.)
I cancelled my appointment 72 hours before the appointment and they still showed up. I turned them away, called the office and they said "Oh, we're sorry, our mistake. We'll refund you but it might take a few days to show up on your credit card."
I said thanks.

In just four hours they made our one bedroom apartment look better than we thought possible. I had no idea our kitchen could sparkle. I found the NY Maids service online and decided to use them because of their spring cleaning anti-allergen package. I spent $277 plus a $40 tip to have two maids do a thorough cleaning for four hours. The first maid arrived on time and I showed him everything I wanted done. We had problems with bugs in our flour so I asked him if they could pull everything from our kitchen cabinets and give them a thorough wash. He said that would be no problem. He also assured me that he was going to clean under everything. I left for work and thanked him.

Friday May 3rd we had our first cleaning done by a woman named Altagracia. SHE WAS AMAZING!!! I can't speak for the service as a whole but as for my personal experience with Altagracia, it was above and beyond. We had been using a different derive for months and I could not BELIEVE the amount of dust, dirt, and garbage that Altagracia discovered under and behind things. She moved every piece of furniture and let me tell you all of our furniture is super heavy wooden furniture. She was a dream and so pleasant. I can't wait to have her back.

Great company, maids arrived as promised and on time. They actually cleaned more than i asked for. Living in the city is very hard to find a business that you can trust cleaning your apartment and this company very reliable and trust worthy. Rosa N. from new york maids has been very nice and very clean. Highly recommend this company. Definitely get your moneys worth. They also did a steam cleaning service for a bed bug problem we had and currently doing this from time to time now.

This is an update on my experience with NY Maids, after the original scheduling mishap. I did finally have my cleaning, and was very pleasantly surprised. Sandy, the manager, was very responsive in following up with my concerns. The week prior to my scheduled service (on Sat, 4/20), I received a call from Sandy, as well as a reminder call of the service on Friday, the day before.
My cleaning person, Pedro, arrived right on time at 1 PM, with a full "suitcase" of cleaning supplies. He was very thorough, even cleaning out dustballs from behind/underneath the bed, and dusting off vents
