The first company I'd hired to clean my main line had told me it was blocked and likely damaged, and that I'd need to get it excavated (under the street, aka $$$). I saw enough positive anecdotes about Cardinal that I hired them for a second cleanout attempt, and it turned out the "solid blockage" that the first guy couldn't get past was just a ton of tree roots. Lee and Jackie got my line completely cleaned out in just under two hours, showed me Lee's progress on the camera as he went along, and confirmed my pipes are actually in totally fine condition. I called a "nationally known company" which I shall not name here, and they worked on my issue for FIVE hours, spending a majority of that time with their machine stuck in the pipe. After finally getting their equipment out, the "nationally known" technician stated that my main had collapsed, and estimated $7,800 to fix the issue. I sought other bids, of course. Not only were they able to come out right away, but the couple (Jackie & Bill?) were super fast, helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process. We had a clogged main line due to tree roots and they took the time to show me and plan for maintenance in the future. The price was unbeatable and their friendliness mixed with expertise was amazing!

Had a emergency sewer back up. Had water coming out of floor drain and up in the shower. Had a friend recommended Cardinal. Gave them a call and were out in less than a hour. Lee and Jackie were very professional. I would highly recommend them for anyone to use.

Cardinal Services was amazing! I had a similar experience as another reviewer. We were told by Uptown that they would never be able to clear more than 20% of the sewer line because of roots and they recommended replacing several feet of the line for $5000. I was looking for a second opinion and found Gene's Water & Sewer who recommended Cardinal Services. Cardinal Services was able to almost completely remove the roots and showed me with the camera that there is very little wrong with my sewer line. I will have to have it cleaned every couple of years but they saved me a lot of money

Good plumber did a good job clearing ou the main. But broke the wash tub sink snaking it out than said he would fix it for free it took him a hour to clear the main witch seems kinda slow but he did a good job so you cant rush quality i guess but he also broke the wash tub within that hour he said he would fix it free of charge and doit off the clock between gixing that and yaping to my wife for about a half hour he charged us for 2 when one of those hours was fixing his mistake and talking not plumbing.

Our main sewer line was backing up in the basement. We initially called Uptown Plumbing as we had had them do work at our house previously.. Someone came to our house and spent ~45 min attempting to unclog the drain. He said he was hitting something about 10ft out. After using a camera, they recommended excavating and repairing a section of our sewer pipe for $6000. We decided we wanted another opinion before making a pressured/rushed decision to spend that much money.

I hated having to call Cardinal but was happy with the end result. Cardinal came highly recommend from a friend of mine. They came with in an hour (they were kind of in the area). Tech came in, reviewed the situation, got his gear and started to work. 2 hours later we were clear of roots and debris. A quick run of the camera displayed no damage to the pipes and we were clear to the city line.

We've had Cardinal clean our main line 3 times in recent years (gotta go after those roots from time to time.) They're always prompt, professional, and effective - and the price is right. They've never tried to up-sell us, and the last time they were here they cleaned the sludgy kitchen stack, no extra charge. Highly recommended.

Woke up to our sewer line backing up at 7am. By noon Cardinal had Alex out to clean out the roots and, after two hours of the auger doing its thing, had our lines completely cleared out. To be safe we had him run the camera down the lines to make sure there weren't any breaks in the line and it all came back clean.

I actually chose to go with a different company that could get out to my home sooner to clean out the main line which is backing up into my basement. Even despite that, when I called Alex back to tell him this, he was extremely courteous and wanted to make sure I was getting proper service so he went over several tips for things to look for to make sure the other company is doing the clean-out properly. I would not hesitate to call Alex or Cardinal in the future.

Cardinal Services was recommended to me by Gene's Water & Sewer to clean my main drain. I originally went to a competitor I found online with a discount promo. I ended up giving them almost $300 with no progress in my drain. This competitor told me that they need to dig up my front yard for $4500 to repair. Cardinal came out as soon as I called them and cleaned the drain properly. He cleaned out the roots and said my drain was in great shape (after looking with the camera). I had an emergency backup in my main sewer line. I called Cardinal and they have people who take your information and then someone in the area called me back within 15 minutes. We scheduled for him to come out to my house within the hour. He was a touch late but it was understandable because he was on another job. So far so good ...
