Urban's Plumbing

I called Urban due to their high ratings on Yelp and I had seen their trucks in the area. I was in a bit of a rush as it seemed my water heater was leaking, and the person I would typically use for this kind of thing retired recently.

When I called, Chris was polite. He shared that their price was a flat fee and was based on using water heaters that are superior and more expensive that those at the big box stores.

Pros:
When we spoke, Chris indicated that the job would take an hour and a half which it did. They arrived (two people) when they said they would. Price upon completion was as quoted

Since moving to Milwaukee, I have used Urban Plumbing on several occasions
Chris and Nick are always on time, always professional and always take the time to talk you through the job at hand. Today I had punctured pipe emergency - nothing to to with the cold, more to do with me, a nail gun and some floor trim!! Gggrrrhhh!! Phoned Urban Plumbing in the AM and the punctured pipe was repaired before lunch. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough, amazing!!

We are both extremely happy with our finished work by Chris. We needed him to basically do all the plumbing and gas work in our newly remodeled kitchen. He came out to our house for the original quote (which he got back to us the same day!). And then came and did the rough plumbing and then once we were ready for him, he came back to do the finish. Fantastic service! I would give Chris more stars if the ratings allowed it. Had a water flow issue affecting shower and taps. Two other plumbers couldn't diagnose the problem. Chris did and made himself available during the process. For a master plumber his rates are reasonable, he's persistent in solving the problem and is a nice guy. Chris from Urban Plumbing came to give us a quote to fix our whirlpool tub. We had a different plumbing company come out twice, spending 3 plus hours to diagnose what was wrong and to tell us the whole tub would need to be replaced... It took Chris looking at the tub for a total of 20 minutes(10 of which was filling the tub enough to cause the problem we were experiencing) to find out what the actual problem was. It needed no parts to fix... Chris was extremely professional, punctual, and knowledgable. I highly recommend calling Urban Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

It was very reasonably priced

Even though Chris wasn't the man for my job he pointed me in the right direction and walked me through the process I should expect to get the job done. He will be getting my call for my next plumbing needs.

After finding Chris' price to be easily less than other plumbers, he contacted me and very easily and quickly set up a date to replace our water heater. I had many questions, which Chris didn't mind, and he answered them all. Very professional , quality work. He even advised me that the prior water heater was improperly installed, and why. I will not hesitate to call Urban Plumbing again and would highly recommend Chris to anyone needing a good, honest plumber.

We had a clogged pipe and called Chris. He worked with my schedule to come out to fix it. He arrived at the stated time and quickly evaluated the situation. This was our first time working with Chris. He helped to repair our tub drain and fit us in on short notice. He was very pleasant and I really appreciated that he explained what he was doing and kept me involved in the process of diagnosing the issue. He gave suggestions that made it clear he wasn't trying to oversell me on more expensive repairs than needed. He was quick about cleaning up the mess that was created. I would not hesitate to have him help with any plumbing related projects in the future!

Chris came out after hours. He was honest about the rate and there were no surprises. He fixed the problem, was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was happening for my particular clogged drain. He did exactly what needed to be done and didn't tack on any extra services. Honest, reasonably priced and a real nice guy. I would definately use his services again.

I called Chris last summer for a blocked shower line buried behind tile in my parents 60 year old home. The tub was also running slow. I was worried about the major job of accessing the line. Chris came up with an innovative plan to try and clear the house pipes first before the expensive job of ripping out tile. It worked and he saved me quite a bit of money. He also gave me an analysis of the state of the rest of the pipes in the house. Not only is he an honest plumber that really knows his business... he's personable too.

I contracted Urban's Plumbing for installation of a new water pressure tank. Unlike other plumbing companies I contacted Urban's Plumbing inquired about the type of water pressure tank and well system I currently have and came to my house with all the correct components to match my water system. The installation went very smoothly with no uh-oh's. Also, the cost was very reasonable as compared to price quotes I received from other plumbing companies I contacted. I would recommend Urban's plumbing to all and have found a new plumber for future needs..

Chris was knowledgeable, fast and made it look easy. Price was excellent! In today's horror stories of ripoff artists it's good to know people like him are out there. I will definitely be a return customer!

Another good service call. I have a hell of a time with my tub drain--clogged in all sorts of place. Chris got a deep clog out, one that I never have found myself but that's a plumber for you. I think I've got the problem licked bc Chris explained the what and wherefores to me. I like knowing what's going on behind the wall. Cool.

We've used urban plumbing twice and have been very happy with his work. He's on time, efficient and does good work. After the first time we used him, my parent called and had him do work at their house and they were also very happy with it.
