What is your roofing attached to? Decking is simply plywood, that is secured upon the trusses of your roof, and creates a solid, continuous foundation to attach your asphalt shingles. The Deck1507.2.1 Deck requirements. Asphalt shingles shall be fastened to solidly sheathed decks. Code interpretation: This section implies that shingles shall be applied over a solid, continuous deck material.
Its also important to make sure your flashing is properly installed, especially around your chimneys. It is just as common of a source of leaks as pipe boots are. Its a rather common issue to find flashing that either was never properly secured, or have been damaged and moved over time and due to weather damage, which is yet another problem that can be prevented by our Free Roof Inspection.

Agreed to a price with this company on November 7. Part of the work was completed and partial payment was made November10, but not the gutter repair that is most needed. The company claimed and issue with staff when I complained on December 11, and promised to take care of it. I have missed time from work several days how long this time frame and have been stood up at agreed upon times when they did not show up. I was given little or no communication they weren't coming each time. Since then, they have told me it would cost more, and have not rescheduled to complete the repairs unless I agree to

If you are looking for roof repair please please please, stay away from Georgia Roof Repair. Had the worst experience with John. This guy is very sketchy, he will start of with giving you a great quote and tell you that he can do anything with a great reputation. Then he will agree to hire him and he will automatically ask for over half the payment right away. He was contracted to complete my residence, he did get over half of it finished very quick, but when it came to the residential apartment, he did not properly finish it. John, the owner, came to our home in the most pressing time as we are selling our house. We live in an affluent neighborhood and he did not try to take advantage seeing what our home was worth. He has to be the only honest roofer in the business as his competition was not honest and wanted to charge double if not triple the cost for what we thought was a simple job. John came, evaluated the situation, had his crew here the next week and the cost was exactly what he quoted with no arguments. He was so pleasant to work with and I'd recommend him any day of the week.

There is so much that I can say about Georgia Roof and John! I just bought a home and the morning after we moved in, we had a leak from a storm the night before. With more rain on the way, in a panic I got in thumbtack to find someone to help. He was one of the few that could come help us on the same day! He arrived within a couple of hours and was very professional and personable. He looked at the roof and immediately discovered what the issue was. I needed some minor roof repairs, I Called this company on Monday 12/10/18 and spoke with Mr. Callahan; very cordial and pleasant. Set an appointment for Wednesday 12/12/18 for 2PM. I took the time off from work in order to accommodate our schedules. I arrived at my house at 1:45PM and called him and told him that I was at my residence waiting for him. We had a HORRIBLE experience with this company. Incomplete and shoddy work done on our home... the few times his company actually showed up. Then he completely ghosted us a couple weeks into the project with less than a third done. He would not answer or return our phone calls or texts. We finally won a court ordered judgment against him but he has yet to refund us the thousands of dollars. Do not use this company!

Update: I am the only owner of my house since 2011. Also John never called be back so I don't know how that's possible. He also "estimated" my roof at 14 years old and would need replacing soon. Funny the house was built in 2008(model home), the roof was less than 8 years old.

Hands-down the best roof company in the state of Georgia! John and Somer have A1 customer service and professionalism not to mention vast knowledge in their field and beyond.
