Really great clear communication and execution of my pavers and canopy build.
Pavers unfortunately have gaps after less than a year, possibly due to ground movement.
I've been trying to get him to come refill the sand per the warranty but communication is much worse after the job is done.
Other con is his price was a bit higher than other quotes but chose him for his communication.

Our home is a Tudor built in 1926 and I was obsessed with wanting our new driveway to look like original construction. Additionally, I hate pavers and am extremely difficult to deal with because I wanted it to look perfect, but had idea how to make that happen --- no design talent at all. ...... and Jonathan was very, very patient. Over a period of time we considered several different designs (i.e. I changed my mind several times in mid design) and finally decided on one that turned out to be exactly what I wanted. It is perfect and fits into the design of the front of my house seamlessly.

Jonathan and his talented team far exceed our expectations! He's just an honest, likable guy and that goes a long way in business. I had very grand ideas and he came up with cost effective solutions to give me a 100k looking backyard for less than half the price. Even more importantly, it was never about the money for him. He went and picked up furniture for us and our grill, put stuff together for us, came back and hung extra lights, and planted additional plants he got donated. This is why he'll be doing all additional work we see fit and a number of others have hired him in our community

Eight months ago I contacted Jonathan and I am impressed how the Landscaping and fencing has maintained since day one. I described to him what I was looking and he offered a competitive quote. I ended up not going with Jonathan because of budgetary issues and used a friend of the family who cut us a deal. That said, Jonathan was the most responsive, prompt, efficient, and very organized person I contacted about landscaping. Most people I had to chase down to get a response but not Jonathan. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Jonathan is a great sales man! Unfortunately, his follow up left us very disappointed. Before the project he was timely, helpful, and worked very hard for to get our project into the right price range, which was about 1/4th his original $18,000 bid for our est 40' x 20' small yard. We worked together to come up with an affordable design under $5,000.
The job went quickly and for the most part we were happy.
Maintenance, on the other hand has been difficult. He claimed to guarantee his work for 1 year and gave a bid to maintain the yard of about double the going rate for our area

Put in a "request for estimate" through Yelp to 5 different companies to help with some landscaping grading (all the rain was causing some major flooding in my yard).
Of the 5, Bonilla was the only one willing to make a same day (Saturday!) visit to provide an estimate. Everyone else either wanted to set up a call (ummmm...I go through Yelp specifically so I DON'T have to talk to people!) or wanted to set up a weekday appt (it's not easy to leave work during the day). I appreciated the expediency!

Hire him! I went through 3 other professionals and spent way too much money before finding him. He fixed what the other guys did and went way beyond expectations. He put down a whole new lawn, gopher screen, redid my irrigation to several areas, balanced out the pressure, installed a wifi timer, cleaned up several hedges and beds, came back several times to check on things and moved a couple of trees. A+

He did front yard landscaping for us, which included demo of concrete pathway and placement of large flagstones in decomposed granite, as well as a new sprinkler system, new lawn, new plants around the house, decomposed granite in the parkways, and low voltage lighting.

We requested a bid through Yelp for some landscaping work. Jonathan was the first to reply and schedule a visit to prepare his bid. Jonathan's bid was very competitive, and he was able to move some things around and get the job done the next day. Given the fair price and availability, we went with him.
