The compressor in my old condenser failed and a new unit was required. Dave gave me a quote with several options to replace the unit with an equivalent model. After some back and forth I settled on an upgraded model (went from single to dual stage). I feel that I got a good price and installation went without a hitch. I would gladly use Alison Mechanical for future HVAC needs.

Allison Mechanical is awesome! They came out to inspect my moms furnace in Northville and gave all the options. No hard sell only genuine evaluation of the situation. Our tech went above and beyond installing by himself as his partner was ill. He never complained once. Outstanding workmanship! Great company. Alison Mechanical came out within a couple hours of me calling (with no prior customer experience) to fix my furnace on a very cold winter day. The service tech was polite and explained the issue. He also gave me a few tips on some minor fixes to try before having to call for service. Highly recommend

I’ve been trying to get in contact with the Owner for over a year to get my DTE refund check for having an energy efficient furnace.
1+ years’ later, I still haven’t heard back and still have not receivers my $250 refund.
I tried to get an estimate on a new AC unit, but my message was never returned.

Called last week to schedule an appointment for a service call. Repeated calls to make the appointment, and this morning at 9 was the quickest they could do. I understand that, it's busy season. Come this morning, take time off work to be there at 9 and no tech. Call to find out about what time they will be out and they have no appointment for me and excuses as to why.

Alison has done our HVAC work in the past and has done a great job. We were disappointed to reach out for a residential AC repair and no one showed up for the appointment. When we finally got in touch with the technician several hours past our appt. time, he said he thought someone else (Dave) was handling it and he was going to be even later past 6 pm. We couldn't wait so he rescheduled for the next morning and again, no one showed up and no phone call. They won't return our calls. Perhaps they are slammed with spring start up elsewhere or just don't want to be bothered. Still,

My central AC unit needed a tune up. It wasn't blowing as cold as it should. Today, temps are supposed to reach the low 90's. Enter Dave from Alison Mechanical. Top notch guy. Called me when he was on his way, and knocked it out of the park. I am currently writing this review as my home is cooling off nicely. Their communication was excellent too. We called them because a friend had recommended them to us. We placed our call, and within a couple of hours, Dave called me and set up a time for today. He was on time, fast and efficient. Great company. If you have any heating or AC issues

Was having issues with my boiler, this company was recommended to me, glad I called! Came out quick and fixed the problem quickly, took the time to explain how to avoid it again in future. 10 out of 10, will use again. Had an estimate from another company, turns out what they quoted wouldn't fix the problem and their quote was more than double what Alison charged! I'm very happy!!
