I am so furious right now I can barely put a coherent sentence together. Please heed me: DO NOT under any circumstances hire these people.
As I was writing the check for the 10 minute!!!!!! chimney cleaning that didn't even involve getting on the roof!!!!! under the hostile, watchful eye of the demanding and rude workman I wanted to stop and tear up the check, but also wanted him to just get the F out of my house. I seriously feel violated right now. Lied to and taken advantage of.
Also, side note, neither men were wearing their masks properly as they entered the house.

I was supposed to have an appointment today at 1:00pm for a simple chimney sweep/cleaning. I confirmed the date and time with the owner via text message and verbally on the phone two days prior to the appointment.
After leaving work early for this appointment, he never showed. Then, wouldn't answer his phone. It would have been nice for him to at least inform me he was not going to be able to keep the scheduled appointment time.
Now, I have missed a half of day of work for absolutely no reason. I feel it is very disrespectful to not only not tell me he wasn't coming, but then to ignore my phone

Al did an excellent job on my chimney. I can't say enough good things! He communicated with me through phone call and text from my initial request for an estimate all the way through service completion. Answered all of my questions, sent me an estimate within 2 days and began work within 2 weeks of my initial request.
The estimate was very fair, considering the condition of my original chimney. I mean, it was a goner. Will post before and after pics soon. He had to replace it from a foot below the roofline and completed the work SAME DAY. I'm honestly blown away. I've been dealing

I called Arcon for a bid to clean my chimney. He gave me a figure over the phone and told me he could come out THE NEXT DAY! The other company I'd contacted was $100 higher (!) and had only "a few openings" left for the month.
Al, my service tech, arrived about 15 minutes early. Throughout the visit, he was very polite and respectful of our home, taking off his shoes before entering, setting up his drop cloth and vacuuming up afterwards.

I emailed to have my chimney draft problems figured out. Al responded very quickly and stopped by to inspect what the problem may be, he knew very quickly what needed to be fixed and gave me a quote. He did not try to upsell me and convince me I needed more (this has happened with other companies I got quotes from). Seemed polite and professional when scheduling, but the day of the appointment he was having difficulty finding my address. He called only 8 minutes after my hour appointment window had started to tell me that since he had trouble finding my house, he had already started work at someone else's home, but asked to come later in the afternoon. He texted at the second appointment time to ask for more specific directions, which I provided in the form of turn by turn instructions from our nearest major cross streets. I had 2 chimneys done. One was a tear down and rebuild from the roof line up. The other was a clean, repair, re-flash and seal.
I had excellent communication and prompt service. Any challenges we talked about, and suggestions were offered. I am very happy with my new chimneys and look forward to a leak free relationship with them for decades to come. !

I had this company out last week. They repaired my firebox and did some repairs to my chimney.
Al is wonderful people friendly down to earth guy.
They are professional and friendly.
They know the business and do things properly.
I would use this company again and I would recommend as well.
I will always call Al if and when I need anything from a chimney sweep to firebox or chimney repair. He does it all!

My husband and I purchased our home about 6 months ago. The previous owners had installed a wood burning stove into the existing fireplace. For the safety of our 18mo and 3mo old we definitely wanted to make sure the installation was done to code and we wouldn't incur any hazards before burning. We called Arcon last week and we're quoted $130 for an inspection and cleaning. Today three men arrived right on time and got right to work.

Arcon Chimney service came to my home to clean my chimney as I requested. The guy that came was very professional, took his shoes off every time he came into our home, put down large mats to keep area clean and he was very knowledgeable about the services he was providing you could see that this was more than just a job for this guy.
I was also impressed that he cleaned areas around the fireplace that he didn't cause to get dirty the area was actually cleaner after he came than it was before. He did tell me some things that could be done to my fireplace but didn't push it like a sales
