If your considering all things fireplace, look no further. This is a family business with years of experience. They have a great approach to making sure you are happy with your purchase. Mindy manages the store and has excellent follow up skills. She takes you along one step at a time without any pressure. Gerry and Jen are like a well oiled machine. Gerry has 34 years of experience in the industry and doesn’t seem to fret about anything. Jen is extremely competent in her abilities while be genuinely personable with customer enagement.

I don't often write reviews but this is one review opportunity that I couldn't pass up. Kester Fireplace would get 10 stars from me if it was allowed. From start to finish, they were a pleasure. I had no idea what I was doing but only knew I always wanted a stone fireplace in my family room. I stopped in to see Mindy. She spent so much time with me explaining every detail of of fireplaces, venting, log sets, etc. Together, we picked out what worked for my space. We bought a house with four gas fireplaces that didn't work. The sellers kept trying to fix them and sent multiple repair technicians, but they kept breaking down. Some wouldn't go one, but worse was that some wouldn't turn off. Since several repair attempts had failed we called the manufacturer to find the best service companies in our area. They recommended Kester Fireplace. Although Kester doesn't usually travel to Philadelphia, they went out of our way to help us. Turns out our fireplaces weren't installed quite right. Wonderful service! I had talked to other fireplace companies on updating our old gas fireplace. All of them me our whole fireplace had to be taken down in order to get our old insert out which would have been very expensive! Kester came out and suggested instead of ripping everything down they could install new gas logs. This saved us thousands of dollars! The installation took less than 2 hours. Everything was nice and clean when they left. We love our new setup! I highly recommend them. They're knowledgeable and very friendly. You'll be supporting a small family business as well!

We couldn't have had a better experience! After a few visits to other fireplace suppliers in the area, we chose Kester for the professionalism and pricing. Everyone at Kester had the knowledge to answer our questions during the purchasing process and the installation. The install was quick.
I requested the wrong part number for the surround my wife wanted. It was no problem. I had no doubts that they would help make it right. Mindy was quick to correct my mistake and schedule the replacement.
I recommend Kester to anyone looking for a new fireplace.

I called several places before finding Kester and I am glad I found them. The experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Mindy was great!! My fireplace is old and they stopped making some of the parts. Mindy researched until she found parts that would work, calling and keeping me informed of her results along the way.

Gerry and Mindy were so incredibly helpful in the remodel of our fireplace! We had a few quotes from different companies within our area and the price Kester provided us was the absolute best. Not to mention, Gerry and his team also reworked our hearth that the other companies wouldn't do. They turned the gas fireplace and hearth around in a quick two days and we couldn't be happier with the results. Their workmanship and professionalism is top notch. I am so happy we went with them :)

Kester Fireplace really went the extra mile on my project, and they really cared about my project. This was an entirely new fireplace in our foyer that required a lot of up front planning. Mindy and Gerry put a lot of time in before the installation even started to help make sure all of the framing and prep work were done correctly. The actual installation went very smoothly, and they were extremely flexible on their end to meet our needs. On top of that their pricing was better than all of the competitors in the area. Cannot recommend this business enough.
