This is our 3rd move with 2 guys and a van. We enjoy the positive interaction with the office staff and moving crew, everyone is professional and customer service is second to none. Great value and very timely they were on time and on schedule, very impressed and would recommend them to anyone who is moving locally within 'Chicagoland / NWI'.
As a family-owned moving company, we know what the stress of moving can be like. To alleviate that stress for even more people we decided to add a location to 2 Guys and a Van. We are here to make moving that much more simple for those in the Franklin Park, IL area. There is no longer a reason for stress if you are moving around this area.
2 Guys and a Van is one of the more trusted and respected moving companies in Chicago. As a part of our business expansion in Illinois, we have opened offices at Bloomingdale. This is in conjunction with our business motto that is "Moving Made Simple". Our specialization is in moving apartments, dorm rooms, condos, small offices, and townhomes.
Obviously, the sooner the better, especially if you need a specific date and / or time. We would recommend at least 30 days notice, especially if you are planning to move during the first or last weeks of the month. Our first move of the day typically starts between 8:00am to 9:00am, with our last move of the day usually ends around 5:00pm to 7:00pm or until the crew is completed.
Before you begin packing, sort through your belongings and set aside any unwanted items to donate or discard. You can also categorize the boxes by room using color-coordinated sticker dots. If possible, save space for the moving truck by securing a parking spot with your car overnight. Stay on budget!

These guys were great ! i had a couple of couches, large ottoman, and artificial tree going 25 miles to my daughter.
Everything , except the tree of course, got wrapped and carefully loaded. The guys were cheerful and friendly and professional.
My daughter said the same on delivery.
I highly recommend this company. !

Needed 2 guys and a van for 2 hours and they delivered quickly with great communication between scheduling, reminders and then prompt, courteous service by the very professional crew. A hiccup about moving a box springs through a tight hall was quickly resolved and they were on their way. I had used a different moving service earlier in the year with very different results and wish I knew then what I know now.

We needed moving crew last-minute to move our college-age son's apartment furnishings (we live in a different state, so we were not there to move things). 2 Guys and a Van was not only available to help with the move; they were very friendly and helpful. The move went quickly and without issues. My son said the movers were great! Would definitely recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND 2 Guys and a Van! I have used 2 Guys and a Van several times over the years, and have always been impressed and appreciate their hard work. They offer a very fair price, work very fast and are always friendly. John and Juan helped me move this weekend and they made my day easy. They got to my apartment early, and got the move-in done faster than the quote. If I need to move again, they will be who I contact!

This is my new experience with them after they charge me two months ago and I tried to get my damage refund!
This company is not worth one star at all. It has been three months, I didn't get any my damaged refunds. When I called Kenny, he was very rude to me. He is yelling at a pregnant women and didn't listen to what I suffer from his company at the moving day. I was wondering why Yelp has "a lot good reviews " until they sent me a agreement and mentioned as long as I removed the bad review about them, then I will get the very minimum refunds which Is on 170$(my losses is much

Our 3 guy crew Jovan, TY, and Mo worked so hard and did a great job! They arrived within window despite traffic, moved very quickly and did a good job wrapping everything. Our 2 bedroom move was estimated to take 4 hrs 45 min but they got it done in 3 hrs 30 min. They were very nice and organized. I also appreciated how responsive and nice Donna was in helping us set up our move. I found it difficult to know what our exact inventory would be before we were all packed and Donna accommodated all of our updates as well as answered all our questions. Would definitely use this company again as well

These guys were incredible. Moved to Chicago using a PODS and hired them for unloading. Quoted for a 2 hour job using 3 guys. Not only did they call asking if we could get the move done earlier in the day but moved all of our things in 48 minutes. Nice, friendly, considerate of our things and honestly the best and most efficient movers I have ever worked with.

Yesterday was my second move using 2 Guys and a Van, and they will continue to be my go to. Their hourly rate is lower than other quotes I received, and both times they finished under the quoted amount of time. So convenient to be able to use their wardrobe boxes and moving blankets to wrap all furniture

This is our second time using this company and I highly recommend them. They showed up on time, early in fact, and got the job done in no time. We moved from a three story spiral walk up, and it didn't bother the guys at all. Nothing was damaged, and they took great care wrapping the pieces we were putting in storage. Very friendly and efficient.

Dominic, Angelo and Mike did a fantastic job. They were professional, friendly, very careful, and FAST. The quote I received was lower than all the competitors, yet they finished before the estimated time so I ended up paying less than the estimate. They also were the only company to offer 3 movers instead of 2 and it made a HUGE difference.
In terms of safety, they wore their masks the whole time and helped maintain a safe environment throughout the whole process. Very appreciated!
