If you are looking for movers, I highly recommend Pack-Men Movers! This is my second time using them, and it was just as smooth and efficient as the last time. I received a prompt response to my quote request, and the quote was easy to understand and very straightforward. They provided timely and consistent communication regarding the move as well as questions I had along the way. The day of the move, Julio called 20 minutes before the scheduled time to confirm, and arrived punctually. I’ve moved 3 times in the last 10 years and I am glad I found Pack-Men. Darwin, Julio and Carlos D had good communication and remained polite and professional. They let me know ahead of time that an earlier job finished early and so I agreed to have them come early. I didn’t want to make assumptions, but I’ve had other movers drag it out before. I do not recommend Pack-Men. I used them because of the good reviews, but was very disappointed.

1) very slow movers. during the move, the movers were incredible unproductive. I had a 3 man team, but I've had 2 move teams in past moves than were much much more efficient. They did a lot of standing around, smoke breaks, and just long periods when I couldn't figure out what (if anything) had been packed up. Because of how slow they were, I cut the move short by asking them not to unpack (as originally planned). Despite, cutting this short AND me helping pack a lot of boxes and carry lots

Apologies for the belated review, but I wanted to say Pack-Men were astoundingly WONDERFUL in handling my parents' move in July 2021. Julio, Carlos and Rene traveled 2 hours south of Chicago and moved my parents' large amount of heavy furniture to a high-rise on the north side of the city.

They took great care in wrapping and moving every piece of furniture and yet loaded their truck in quick order. The team was very professional, accommodating and careful in their work.

Pack-Men did a great job moving us from our townhouse to a new single-family home. Julio, Martin, Alexis, and Rene were professional and did a fantastic job. They were fast while also taking good care of our belongings.

A good friend recommended that I use Pack1Men Movers. I really didn't know what to expect given that I had not moved in 25 years. I really liked the online process for estimating the size of the move. The only problem with the estimate was me. I had no way to know how many boxes. I guessed 35-50 and ended up with over 100. I didn't realize the number of boxes until 2am Ayer packing and forgot to mention it when they called to say they were on their way. The rest of the estimate is as easy because I could just count. I highly recommend Pack-Men movers. The quote and booking process was hassle free, price was comparable to movers I hired previously. I was lucky to book them with a few days notice in the busy July 2021 season. I had direct communication with the crew members via phone a half hour before the appointment, no middle person to relay messages which is good. Pak-Men Movers is Outstanding!!! Julio, Carlos D and Rene arrived on time and went right to work. I thought they would have to hoist four pieces of furniture out the second story window however Julio figured out how to safely take them down the stairs. This left an Box Spring which is not has heavy and easier to hoist.

I am going to use Pak-Men for an upcoming move and request the same Great Team.

Pack-Men Movers is by far the BEST moving company I have ever used. The three gentlemen, were very professional, hard working and even helped us out once they delivered by setting up our couch. I used Pac-Man mover 3 times. Today's moving is terrible!! See attached what they left in garage and our receipt. True story.
1. Most important: they did not finish moving and just left mattress, sofa, coffee table, drawers (all these heavy stuffs..) in the garage and left!! We are stupid to pay liars in full before they finish the work
2. Their estimates are far off. We spent $1000 to move a 3 bed townhouse and it is unfinished.
3. We hired three men and a truck. Most of the time, only two men were moving. The third one just stood by and be a commander (i need labor work not a commander！！�

We have used Pack-Men for moves twice. The first move was great. This time, not so much.

Now that we're getting settled in, we are discovering more and more items that were damaged, and walls that were heavily scuffed due to carelessness. A lot, and I mean A LOT of our furniture is scratched up. They only took the time to wrap two items.

They refused to disassemble our bed frame even though we offered to help, and instead insisted on trying to cram it in one piece through stairways and doorways, doing a decent amount of damage to it and wasting a ton of time along the way.

Henry, Mario and Teodio did a great job. I got a call when they were close to arriving, which was exactly at the start of the arrival window that they gave me. They went over the paper work and got started right away. They managed to fit everything into the truck, which was impressive. They quickly moved everything into my storage unit and everything fit perfectly. Paying through Zelle was easy. They even called me afterwards to make sure that I had placed a lock on my unit.

Definitely made a stressful move pretty painless. Will for sure book them in a few weeks after I close on my new home

I called pack-men movers a week before my scheduled move. We packed and boxed everything but we needed them to move the furniture, boxes, bags into a 20ft uhaul. Julio and Diego arrived on time and worked nonstop until the job was done. They were helpful making sure the U-Haul was packed perfectly so everything would fit! Julio and Diego were professional, careful and very friendly. I highly recommend using pack-men movers for your next move.

Loved that they showed up promptly and wearing masks - given the COVID safety measures. Nick and Julio were both quick, efficient and respectful through the whole process. They disassembled my furniture quickly and reassembled at my new place. Highly recommend them!

So I recently moved and hired the Uber for moving company, Dolly.

Let's just say they did a terrible job. Luckily my girlfriend had hired Pack-Men for her move. Everything that Dolly couldn't do for me, the guys at Pack-Men got done. For example, they figured out a way to get my couch out of my old apartment building that seemingly didn't fit in the elevator. Also, they got my bed frame up the stairwell that Dolly couldn't.
