Local moving is all moving within Southern NJ, Central NJ, NJ Shore Areas, Philadelphia Area (but not with pickup and delivery in PA), and Northern Delaware. The charges are based on the number of men used plus a travel charge based on the number of miles of travel from your current home to your new home.
Long distance moving is all moving out of or into New Jersey from another state. The charges for long distance moving are based on the weight of your goods and the miles of travel plus any additional services needed such as packing, additional insurance, storage, flights of stairs, elevators, and bulky articles.

We have used Steedle multiple times over the years. Their crews are professional and efficient. You get what you pay for with this company. We had a two day move in 95 degree heat and our crew didn’t break their hustle. We had multiple pieces of heavy furniture including two large safes. No wall scrapes. No damaged furniture. Everything was perfect. They made a difficult move as stress free as possible. We are so happy to have chosen them.

I recently purchased an very large antique cabinet on the Internet from England. It unfortunately could not fit into my bedroon through the doorway. Patrick came out and carefully measured and we planned using a crane to bring it in through the bedroom window. He arrived on time with his crew. They maticulously wrapped my antique, set up the scaffold, and AMAZINGLY brought the cabinet in through the window without any damage to the antique or my window. They are professional, experienced, and honest. So lucky I found this company.

Steedle movers were amazing! They delivered the service that we confirmed. And the day of moving, the me men were on time. They were super friendly even funny and made the experience so nice. The day we moved it was pouring yet they never complained or slacked. The movers took care of all our belongings and put everything into our home exactly how we wanted. We highly recommend Steedle Moving! They showed up on time, were quick and thorough all while maintaining a high level of professionalism. We heard horror stories about other moving companies. However, none were true of this company. Patrick and his team did an amazing job moving us several states away. They worked with our schedule to ensure our items were delivered when we needed them. What a great company to deal with. From the girls in the office to the men in the warehouse and the actual movers, they are total professionals. Very courteous, hard working and meticulous when packing and moving your furnishings. The movers moved my entire home (2100 square feet) to my new home in less than 7 hours. The temperature was 98 degrees on moving day with high humidity and these movers worked very hard the entire time. Not one item was damaged!! I highly recommend Steedle Moving and Storage....you won't be disappointed.

Steedle Moving did a fantastic job for my office move. It was an extremely hot day and the movers were efficient, professional and courteous. They went above and beyond, even helping to take closet doors off to get a cabinet in a closet. It was also a terrific value and their fee was very competitive. Highly recommend!

A very professional organization. They reviewed our situation ahead of the move and exceeded our expectations. Everyone we dealt with on the phone and taking part in the move were friendly, helpful and courteous. The Steedle moving crew were professional, efficient, and courteous. Most of all, they were very respectful toward the developmentally challenged young man whose belongings they moved. They consulted with him, made suggestions for furniture placement, and made him feel like he was "the boss." So glad I called Steedle again for yet another move.

I can’t say enough good about this company. One of the most stressful weeks of our life and the entire team at Steedle was amazing. All the way from the FaceTime estimate with Pat to the team arriving on site… and on time packing up and moving our entire home in two days it was just amazing. They even rolled out the red carpet! Our team of 7 guys Dave, Vijal, Bob, Najee, Jim, Dave and Harold were the absolute best. Positive and enjoyable to have around. Even the really heavy stuff they moved with zero complaints. We had A LOT of stuff and couldn’t imagine doing it without them

They were amazing. First, it was last minute they fit me in then they held my items for two days with no complaint. They were on time, quick professional, both moving out and moving in. Bob, Harold,Dave and Jim were the nicest, most curtious men. Nothing was a problem. They went above and beyond what I needed. If you need a mover, Steedle moving… is in my opinion the best and they are reasonably priced. I was so pleased with them I would recommend them to any one. Terribly unprofessional and inept from the top down. First the owner himself comes out at my request to look at my house and it’s contents after I was given a quote that concerned me as ; A) Being too low and B) Not including enough men to complete the move in the estimated time quoted. Well , even after the owner ( whom you’d think would know how… to estimate) came out and re-quoted upward. The following happened : He was off by 50%! He had to send another additional crew because 1) the initial crew was exhausted and if more men were not sent they’d probably still be here
