And there was not just one thing wrong with it-there were four things wrong: leaking iron elbow on the ground loop; weak electronic board; failed capacitor; and an inefficient heat exchanger coated with metal oxides.
Innovative WaterFurance Geothermal heat pumps tap into the earth's surface to use the energy and consistent heat found in the ground, a pond or well water as a heat source and heat sink - instead of using outside air like traditional heat pumps. Geothermal heat pumps provide both cooling and heating to your home, and are able to maintain the highest efficiency on even the coldest winter nights or the hottest summer days, saving you money.
Vertical ground loops are typically the most expensive to install but take up the least amount of space. Vertical loops allow for a large project on a smaller piece of property. Pond loops are an efficient loop choice and are typically cheaper to install. State legislation currently prohibits this type of installation in public waterways.

My furnace stopped working and I could not troubleshoot the issue by myself. I was referred to Jason Bartel through a mutual friend. After having me talk through the issue and sending some pictures of my furnace it was determined to be a blocked air inlet pipe outside the house! Jason was professional and quick to reply to my troubles and ended up resolving it over the phone and I didn't have to spend a dime. We just had three LG mini splits installed by another HAVC company and they were not able to get them working for 10 months. Called Jason at Geothermal and he set a date to come out and look at our units and was prompt at keeping his appointment, notifying us the evening before that he was coming out as planned. He was very professional and had researched our units before he came out and was able to get us and running that very day. I truly appreciate his knowledge and his kindness in explaining things to us as he worked, Great company.

Be careful He did 4 hours work including travel both direction and charged $1000.00 normal hourly rate for HVAC is $85/hr not $250.00 only tools used was $700.00 irons used to fuse. and 10 fittings @ 10ea.
I pay excavation company $120/hour they use a $250,000.00 machine. Seems extravagant, I was taken advantage.

Very impressed, they were able to come out and fix my system same day. And they didn't charge me an arm and a leg. prices were great! Called them back the following summer to add an AC, works great and keeps everything COOL. Always was prompt and showed up on time/early, cleaned up afterward, the works.. everything you could ever want when you let someone come in to your home to work. Thanks again!!
