Phoenix Stone & Laminate specializes in the fabrication and installation of custom stone countertops. We are a small, family-oriented company that believes in the importance of doing things right the first time. Ruben and Annie have been working together since early 2009, co-managing a successful countertop fabrication shop in the Austin area.
Manufactured Quartz is an engineered stone. Fashioned from a mixture of crushed quartz and other various resin and bonding materials, quartz is a non-porous surface that resists scratches and is easy to maintain. It requires none of the annual sealing that is needed to extend the life of a natural stone product like granite or marble.
This is the very question that has been plaguing our industry these days. The scientific definition of quartzite is a metamorphic rock made almost entirely of the mineral Quartz. Its geologic cycle starts from simple grains of sand, compressed over time to create sandstone. The sandstone then gets compressed and heated again causing the sand grains to fuse together forming the durable rock we call quartzite.

Annie and her team are my exclusive go to team when it comes to countertops. I am a General Contractor with Thomas W Glass Home Design Repair & Remodel and I have high expectations. Annie and her team meet and exceed my expectations, with great communication and service, both, before the installation and post installation. Her quotes are fair and the finished product is the same price as the quote. You can’t go wrong with Annie her team and their professionalism.
