We were getting some occasional smells that weren't too extra nice. After looking at reviews, we called the safe harbor folks, and they agreed to take a look at our septic system the next day, on the way to way to another appointment. They found an issue that turned out to be a fairly inexpensive fix, but could have turned into a real situation with much more time. They advised on options, and the route we chose worked out great after we followed it. Good service and fair pricing saved us potentially a lot of grief. Great people, I wouldn't hesitate them to use them next time I need a septic inspection

Ian answered my call while sitting in the hospital, having just welcomed his new baby. He spent 30 minutes with me, actually walked me through troubleshooting why I had overflow from all 3 of my tanks...yuck! His patience, knowledge and instruction were fabulous! We found the culprit to be a blown fuse, and were able to replace and get things back to pumping! Once I was off the phone I added him to my top provider list, not only will I reach out when I'm in need, but will recommend him to others in the area! Thanks Ian!! Oh, and congratulations!!

Ian is a real stand up guy. I would 10/10 recommend! I scheduled a quote with Safe Harbor Septic for a cracked fitting. I was told by another company that the repair would cost $5,000+ including 3 full days of labor. Ian was able to repair the problem within a couple hours and for less than 1/8 the price! If you need help with your septic, this is the company to go with.

We were ready to close on our home.. After the septic system guy came and told the potential buyers there were problems with the drain field and scared them with the worst case scenario of having to replace the drain field, the buyers backed out.
When we received the report we were flabbergasted. The report stated no problems other then one damp drain field. He closed it off in order to dry out but stated no problem.
This bad judgment of not thinking through what he was stating has caused us financial and emotional stress.

When I had trouble with my septic system and didn’t have the first clue what was going on, I called Ian at Safe Harbor Septic. He answered right away and was able to schedule me for a same day service call. He let me know the charge up front and what kind of trouble shooting he anticipated. He arrived when he said he would and was friendly and professional. He was able to fix my problem and educated me about my system as he worked. He showed me how to perform basic maintenance and what signs to look for in the future. Absolutely one of the best service calls I’ve had to deal with as a home
