Emailed/texted back and forth a few times looking for a good time to have a rep from Hawkeye come out to give us an estimate on a newly purchased property in Bridgewater. Very confusing correspondence that led us to believe they weren't even reading our responses. Told them that the day they gave us to come out wouldn't work out as we would both be at work that day, and they responded saying something along the lines of "Sounds great! See you then!"
Weird, but we decided they must be pretty busy and would simply take the time off work to meet them on our property at the allotted

UPDATE: shortly after posting this i went online and had no trouble ordering what i needed right from amazon 2 days later i welded an 18 foot fence together in just a few hours hawkeye fence is just a running joke 😅 now.

Not good. I asked them for an estimate to fix some very specific stuff in my backyard where my fence got knocked down in 2 places from a storm. Took them like a week to write an estimate for the wrong stuff. I went down to the office to ask them to do the estimate over, they advised me the estimate was off because it was a "drive-by" estimate they wrote from the street. How can you write me an estimate if you dont get out of the car? Terrible customer service. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I ended up fixing the fence myself.

Just disgusted. After calling a few other fence companies and getting the run around I called them. They were very accommodating in the beginning. Sure we can fit you in.small Job. Replacement gate .that was back in April .someone came out. Took photos of job.that was Patriots day.here we are a month later. Still not done. After many unreturned calls.finally got someone .who said he would email me contract and estimate. Well that never happened. Even after a few voice mail. Called this week to see if we were scheduled. In April 2017 Hawkeye installed an 8' high vinyl privacy fence in our back yard in two 40 foot lengths divided by a corner post. So far so good. In December 2017 a portion of one section of the fence blew down. Hawkeye agreed to repair the damaged portion of the fence which included a cracked fence post but at our expense since the damage was due to an "act of God" as stated in their initial proposal. Okay. Hawkeye just finished installing our fence and it came out great. The work that they completed was not an easy task, the job was turned down by another company because of what it entailed. The fence was tucked away in our wooded backyard. It's not a flat wooded area either, Hawkeye had to install the fence all along the backyard which includes a large steep hill. Hawkeye met our demands and did charge an astronomical amount. We had this Hawkeye Fence come to our home to give us a quote on replacing the fence. It's not a huge yard (about 0.25 acres) and we were given an estimate.
Two months later, we are ready to move forward with replacing the fence (boy these things are expensive!) and they said they had to come out again to give us an updated quote. No problem. A company representative came out and looked at the yard again with my husband and went over type of fencing, gate locations, etc. and said he would email us back in about a week with the updated quote.
Well, we heard from him today with a one-line

I was not satisfied with their customer service at all... I had a fence installed last month... The fence itself is very nice, installed well, looks great... But their service is horrible...
