Hi, we're Joseph and David, the two brothers who started Lamont Bros. We've remodeled homes for over a decade in the Portland area. We've both had our homes torn apart and know what it's like to put our loved ones through a major remodel -- and come out successfully on the other side. We know there's a lot to think about when it comes to a remodel.
When Justin was having trouble finding a partner to remodel his kitchen and make his home more livable for his family, he turned to Lamont Bros. We've used Lamont Bros for a few projects now, ranging from rebuilding front and back porches, retiling our fireplace, and replacing ceiling fixtures. Lamont Bros makes it simple to get through the entire process. We really enjoyed working with BaSharia on our design and vision. She really helped bring to life our ideas and wish lists! The finished product is excellent quality, and they are quick to come back out to touch up/correct any issues. You get the quality you pay for. We plan to continue using them for future projects!

Last summer of 2020 , Basharia Middleton designed a bathroom and adjusted closets in a bedroom and put in a large picture window.
I needed the bathroom to be Universal Design with curb less entry shower , and support bars that don’t like like a hospital . I live in a 1914 craftsman type of home and wanted the design to reflect that.
The results are amazing and helped me care of my 98 year old parents .

The crew followed very safe protocols during the pandemic . They were reliable ,on time , cleaned up and respectful of

We worked with Lamont Bros on a remodel of our garage to convert it to an art studio. The building was in reasonable condition but needed full drywall/insulation, windows/door/new garage door, new rafters, and all city permitting. From start to finish, Lamont was a pleasure to work with. Their estimates were easy to follow and they stuck to the budget. They showed up on time and worked diligently and efficiently. I reached out to Lamont Bros via email in 2019 for kitchen remodel. Immediately a designer,Basharia replied. We set up a meeting in my home and from that point on we began the kitchen project.
Basharia along with her team worked diligently with our budget, the vast differences between my husband and my design philosophies and our quirky house.

We used Lamont Bros. in 2020 to do a major addition on our home. It was a difficult decision. Should we invest to make our home fit our growing family's needs or move to a newer, bigger home? Now, with the benefit of hindsight, we are so happy we chose to do the addition. Our space needs are so much better met and we get to stay in a great neighborhood.

The person who came out to bid the job, Joseph Patrick, was by far the clearest in grasping what we wanted and then laying out the possibilities on his computer right there on our kitchen table on his first visit. His presentation was clear, filled with enough detail, good suggestions, potential ways to work with our budget and our wants than any other contractor we talked with. His computer presentation was impressive!
I especially thought the attention to detail and thoroughness showed by their two designers, Basharia and Emily, was worth the communication challenge

We hired Lamont to do a small addition for a shop space and a kitchen remodel. The kitchen remodel involved removing a wall, and installing new drywall, creation of a pantry, and new counters and cabinets. Overall we are very happy with the work they did. First, Lamont is a full service outfit, they have designers, project managers, plus several construction crews who do most of the work themselves. They did contract out the electrical, plumbing, roofing and countertops. The designers we worked with, Basharia and Julie were excellent. They drew up two full versions of the kitchen for us to choose
