Folkestad Moving Services is the ABSOLUTE BEST moving company in the quad city area! Furthermore, IMHO the best in the West Coast!

This moving Company was so fabulous! They sent us five of the hardest working, most polite guys. They didn’t stop for a minute. We moved from Avondale Arizona to Prescott. It took five strong guys a 36 foot and a 26 foot moving truck. We had a four bedroom home with a guest house a six car garage and two car garage and a very large work shop filled to the brim with extremely heavy items. They treated our furniture very carefully and wrapped each piece very well with lot of extra padding and shrink wrap. We had a lot of very fragile things to move. Everything got to our new house in perfect condition

Our move from Southern California to Arizona could not have been easier or smoother thanks to Josh Folkestad and his team. Both the loading and unloading teams were fast, professional and helped ease the stress we had about our major move. We have heard so many nightmares from friends. We can highly recommend them.

It did take a lot of stress of to have movers do everything. They did a good job moving all our stuff from Ash Fork, putting it in storage and moving it in to our new home in Chino Valley. A couple pieces got damaged, but they did give us a fair amount for the damage. They weren't perfect, there was a cup of cat food in one of my boxes (we do not own cats), not sure where their storage place is. Although, they are well-priced, willing to travel, offer storage (if your move is not immediate) and hardworking.

Local move in August -- and that was OK but for damage to one piece. Pointed out to movers -- said no problem, we'll take care of it, noted on signature, took picture. Despite numerous attempts with the office, no resolution. They've stonewalled, not followed up with promised help, etc.
Oh, and there's the bill. More hours than quoted, and then came the previously undisclosed "mandatory " charges which included insurance (?!).

I have used Folkestad Moving Services twice and they always come in at a great price with good service. My parents also used them to move. Unfortunately a TV stand was damaged during the move, however Folkestad reimbursed for the cost of a new stand without any questions. I highly recommend Folkestad Moving Services.
