In December of 1975, Bob Jenkins had a vision to start his own company and satisfy the needs of Central Florida in the hearth and patio industry. Out of his house, with a little help from family and $500 he started the company that would become Fireplace & Verandah. It has grown to become one of Orlando's oldest retail stores.

This lady who is complaining about her teak furniture is not being just. She called during our time that our store was closed for six weeks because of Covid. She said that she assumed that we were closed forever and called her credit card company and said that we were closed forever and that she wanted her money back and so The credit card company charged back her $7000. We disputed the credit card company and they charged back-and-forth at this time she has received a $7000 refund and still has the furniture. This is not right

Four years after our purchase of high quality outdoor furniture, a frame broke. The manufacturer, Lloyd Flanders, provides a three year warranty. I contacted Fireplace and Veranda and not only did they replace the piece without charge to me, they even delivered and installed the replacement part at my home. What great service!

Need help replacing a part or minor repair in a year or two? Be prepared to hear “sorry we can’t help you”. I was even offering to pay or find a third party that might be able to help. Should have read the other reviews.
Once you make a purchase apparently they want nothing to do with you. Interesting strategy on repeat customers.

This company doesn't deserve even 1 star. I bought with them a dining set for outdoor use that cost $ 7,200 and the saleswoman recommended one with a sealed wood that would be protected against rain, dust, sun, and totally for outdoor use, since I mentioned her that I would be in an open area. Even though, I place the dining set in a covered area.
Within a week of receiving it, It had problems with stains on the wood. I called them and wrote to them trying to have a solution since I bought an expensive piece of furniture that meant it was of high quality but they never answered me.

I see not much has changed in a year with this store and its customer satisfaction! We paid $2,200 for a dimplex linear electric fireplace and the day after it was delivered. We turned it on the day after it was delivered and it was defective. The fireplace would continually click on and off and a piece of the manufactured wood fell off! This fireplace is a piece of JUNK for the money we shelled out! It is NOT worth $100.00, never mind $2,200! The sales lady was quick to sell the product and now we know why! With a rating of 3..9, that is sure to go down to a 0, who would shop there? ! I would

Came here looking for an electric fireplace. Went above and beyond to help my restless toddler while showing us the products in stock. Made sure to show us all the comparables and all the features for the dimplex fireplace we were looking to include in our new built in we were having done in our living room. Attached a finished picture of the room with the new electric fireplace they picked for our room.

Unbelievable how overpriced this place is compared to the other locations in Orlando. We found the same items for much less, asked for a better price and was given a less than 8% discount. This place takes advantage of the neighborhood they are located near. Too bad the word is catching on they have over the top prices. If your looking for $600 throw pillows, here is your place. Sad!

If there was a way to give a zero, I would do that. Five months and almost $6,000 dollars later, we have a fireplace installed. Ordered in July, delay after delay, wrong fireplace received. More delays. Worse customer service ever. Save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else. Do not buy a fireplace here.
