Two generations, father and son, Gary and Andrew, team up to help their clients with form and function. Gary Shilling began Shilling Construction after retiring from tech. Gary helped to start the computer science department at Kansas University in 1963. He has started and sold a few software companies and a probiotics company, consulted for the US Navy, sold a patented mathematical algorithm and likes to sail and ski moguls.
Because of Gary's tech experience, he helps clients see their vision in a 3D rendering prior to the project being approved. Gary enjoys designing and building and, most of the time, he loves working with his son, Andrew. Andrew Shilling has been building and repairing or at least watching the work since he was a little boy.
Andrew is an amazing carpenter, welder, mechanic and brother (pssst, his sister wrote this and built the website). Andrew helps to manage the teams that build, tile, drywall, plumb, do the electrical work and assures the work is quality along the way.

Love using this company. They are wonderful. Always on time and the work they perform is top notch. They never leave a job unfinished and do everything in their power to ensure you are happy with the outcome
They are professional and clean up after themselves. Able to do anything. I've had them paint, do installation, electrical, and plumbing. Highly recommend them for whatever you need.

Gary and his team are excellent. They are so responsive and wonderful at what they do. What I loved most about Gary and his team was that he was able to do the job quickly and efficiently. He always kept us aware of our spending and budget which was important to us. The quality of work was very high! We wish we had used them for all of our past jobs, but we will absolutely use him and his team in the future for ALL projects. Great company, you won’t be disappointed!
