Randy Pain founded Pain Construction in San Diego California in 1980. In 1989 the company was incorporated as DRP Construction Company a general building, construction company. At that time, work was predominantly residential remodeling and new home construction. In 1992 Randy Pain was additionally licensed as a general engineering contractor.
Work branched out to include public works for local cities, the US Forest Service and the United States Bureau of Land Management the Department of the Navy and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration.
Over the years, being qualified to contract public works as well as residential construction projects has provided extraordinary contracting experience which most "residential" or "engineering" alone, contractors have not have the opportunity to experience.The resulting knowledge has made DRP Construction singularly qualified to take on unique and difficult construction projects.
