Before I started JACKIE MOVERS I used to work for another moving company. Then in 2009, I got the opportunity to start my own business (Jackie Movers). The main purpose of Jackie moving company is to make your move easier with very affordable prices. Jackie movers only hire people that have at least 5 years of experience.
We have BIG trucks that can take complete contents of a 3 bedroom house. No additional charge, time starts at your door and ends at the moment we finish installing the last items at your new location. We let you use all our packing materials that we have on our truck when you book the move with us at no additional charge; all you need to do is return packing materials when your move is completed.
You'll need many boxes in assorted sizes. All boxes should be in good condition and must have covers on them in order that they can be closed and sealed. Keep a list of boxes by number, that way, you will know right away if any ofthem are missing. Pack similar items together and remember to keep all necessary parts together, that way, you won't struggle looking, when it's time to reassemble it.

Great Service! We moved to another apartment in the same building. We just need to move our furniture from the 2nd floor to the 5th floor. They completed all moving process in 1-1.5 hours in a very effective way. Manuel, the owner of the company, he helped us for the scheduling in a short time. I highly recommend Jackie movers.

I highly recommend Jackie Movers. From my initial call to the pick-up and move itself, everything was perfect. Received a prompt no-nonsense estimate and great price on a local short-distance move for a heavy Art Deco wood cabinet. They arrived right on time, wrapped the cabinet in plastic film (over a moving blanket) and carefully loaded it on their truck (equipped with a hydraulic lift gate - not a rickety ramp). At the delivery destination, they had it unloaded, brought in, unwrapped and put in place within minutes. These guys are pros and I couldn't be more pleased with their scheduling

Jackie movers made my moving day easy and stress free. They arrived at exactly 2:59 (my app was at 3:00) and they had everything ready I requested like wardrobe boxes. They wrapped and moved everything professionally and efficiently.
Both gentlemen that moved us were incredibly nice and put everything away when we got to the new place.

Jackie Movers are awesome. They couldn't have been more careful & we were very pleased. We had 3 guys helping us for most of the day. 2 more joined them at the end of the day because it was taking longer than they had expected.
In regards to being careful, they wrap every fragile piece with precision. They mind door frames and walls, being careful not to scratch. We appreciated this so much! They were organized and obviously had a system.
They were also very nice and were patient with us even when we were exactly sure about the placement of some furniture.

They were absolutely fantastic! I booked them on July 4th which was a hard day to find someone willing to help. They showed up at the exact time we agreed on and were ready to go. I boxed most of my stuff so they loaded everything extremely fast then unloaded even quicker. I was really impressed with how fast and efficient they worked. Price was as quoted and I was extremely happy their service.

We had an excellent experience with two gentlemen from Jackie Movers. In 5 and a half hours, they loaded and unloaded a two bedroom house's worth of boxes and furniture. It was a HOT day, but they were incredibly efficient and lovely to interact with. We have a 4 year old and an infant, and would have been completely lost on moving day without these movers. I would hire the company again in a second, highly recommend!

The movers were late by 40 minutes and were working super slow. It took them more than 3 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment with not much furniture other than a bed. I've used two other movers in the past and it took less than 2 hours on both occasions. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is they handled electronics and delicate things carefully.
Use other movers if you can.

Moving is never fun. We had to move our office over holidays and I assumed, I will not find any movers due to holidays. So went on Yelp and asked for quote from probably 11 companies (used Yelp's feature asking for quote) First company to respond was Jackie Movers. I talked to Manual about moving our small physical therapy office. He confirmed with staff and called me back that they will be there arround 5 pm. about 3 hours later. Phew! Moving is never fun!!
I picked Jackie Movers out of 10+ movers because of the reviews. I had chatted with Anthony (owner?) couple of times before making an appointment with them.
Pros:
1) Movers were very friendly and nice.
2) They used moving blankets for TVs and other electronics. Nothing was broken.
Cons:
1) Movers didn't have any tools like screwdrivers, drills etc. I would think tools are the first thing they would carry. Good thing I had them.
2) One of my painting (55') went missing. I do not know if it was misplaced or something else.

The movers were on time, very professional and did the job really well.
The reason I took away one star is because their final bill amount was a bit fuzzy and they could not properly explain several items on the bill. When we questioned them about it, the guy who gave us the bill spoke to his boss on the phone and removed several items from the bill which was a bit weird. They charged us ~$525 initially and after some discussions where we merely asked them for an itemized bill, they changed the amount owed to ~$470.
But other than that the move was quick and easy, and the movers were friendly
