For over 20 years, 'out/back design group', the residential division of Brummel Architectural Group, assisted homeowners with the creation or enhancement of their own personal 'dream/spaces' or 'out/backs.' Inspired by architect Marc Brummel's thesis sketch of his own natural 'out/back'some 35 years ago, that term - out/back - was meant to be a 'Feng Shui' or 'utopian' design concept.
Initially, these design projects were kitchens, additions or homes. Since 1996 we've designed hundreds of dream/spaces, from Lake Geneva to Door County to Astor Park. BAG is a full-service architectural firm established in 1996, offering sustainable design practices, master planning, interior and urban design, site analysis and project feasibility studies.
Our history exemplifies an outstanding reputation for matching cost control, superior project management and construction supervision within innovative, modern designs. Aided by our exemplary virtual 3D computer practices, we offer clients the ability to visualize their projects throughout the entire design process.

The owner of this green bay urban environment wanted a home that is fun, embraces family, and is 'ecoconsciously' set in the community. While remaining in the city was key for this growing family of six, maintaining the idealic 'english garden' integrity of their most cherished space - their yard - was most critical.
Inspired by the light and shadows of the trees, this home manifests pure nature with its soaring windows allowing morning to evening sun to sprinkle into its spaces. During the 3D design phase, we three, jokingly sat within the home looking out, determining which of the 103 windows to delete. They all were kept, allowing full interaction with the birds who fly past them daily, enticing their new cliff dwellers to become a part of them.
All your standard stuff is in this home but just a little smaller and that's just fine for this owner. Most important was the community space, where one links with their peers in peace and reflectance. A mini loft for poetry and naps connects you to the sky and the lake. Detaching the home from the garage was imperative as it allowed superior views to Lake Michigan from all sides.
This Packer entertainment home with its raised entertainment deck is located on Shadow Lane overlooking Lambeau field. The elevated angled deck with its gold stripe projecting toward the field offers focus both from the party plaza - and lambeau street, where passersby will see the numbers of the hallowed packers who had their numbers retired adorn its side.
