Sean and his team helped me with my move this past weekend. They were extremely professional and also very patient. One of my large furniture pieces ended up being quite the hassle to move, and honestly, I did not hear or feel any negativity from them about the unexpected inconvenience. They were so patient. Everything was moved without damage. Also, once at the new apartment, the same large piece of furniture (large IKEA wardrobe) caused more issues, and their problem solving skills were impressive and saved me some money. These guys are great people and very professional. I highly recommend.

I hired these guys based on a recommendation from a friend. Your best bet is to text or call them as they're not as quick to respond thru email.
I think these guys are best for smaller jobs and that is what they're used to - like apartment, condo, or 2500 sq ft moves. We had a 5000 square foot home which we lived in for sixteen years - and I think the amount of stuff we had to move was too much for a three person crew. They brought a fourth person on the second day but it still seemed somewhat strained.
As a result, we had to hire them for two days. We had tried to get an estimate

Let me start off by saying I have never had a positive moving experience with any moving company, ever! Luckily good friend highly recommended rock 'n' roll Movers to me and I was so pleasantly surprised and impressed with Sean and Sam!! Sean and Ben, simply put are rock star movers - the best! As a designer, i have high expectations, for my clients. We did the move in a few phases, very well planned out, albeit not as simple as most moves. The guys worked seamlessly though the day, well into the night during both big move days. Everything was carefully packed including large pieces of artworks, arrived in-tact, not one broken item. The guys even helped with a small third move and donations. No job too small! This was my second time hiring the crew within a 3 year period.
They have gotten pricier over time but still economical compared to the other outrageously priced companies.
Sean and crew showed up promptly.
My move took 7 hours and 2 trips instead of the anticipated one trip 4 hours. They completed the job without any complaints and a skip in their steps.
If you need to move delicate fragile expensive items or art they are probably not for you. However if you need to move regular furniture within the city they will do an amazing job.
I highly recommend.

Rock n Roll moving is great! I can't recommend them enough. I needed help with a move kind of last minute, and everything was smooth from start to finish. The scheduling process was easy, and the pricing was reasonable and transparent. I could tell that they really knew what they were doing, which was such a load off since moving is so stressful already. By far the most reasonable and accommodating company I have ever moved with. Sean was so flexible with our needs and moved us from San Francisco to Los Angeles with ease. Competitive rate for sure.

Movers were quick and had great attention to detail making sure everything was packed up and secure before transporting it to the other side of the bay.
Finished moving my entire apartment in just a few hours, even without an elevator!

Ray and his crew did an amazing job helping us move! They made it so easy and we’re very reasonably priced. The guys were on time, very good at communicating, and carefully handled all of our belongings. They went above and beyond by helping us rearrange the furniture once we were all moved in, just to make sure that we were completely satisfied with our move. Fantastic moving company. Honest, reasonably priced, reliable and very responsive. I had so many questions for our big move from SF to LA (with 2 kids!) and Ray (the owner) answered them all. The night before our move I realized we had a lot more stuff than would fit into a 16 ft truck and I text Ray. He called me back in the morning and was super chill and managed to get a bigger truck for us. The move was delayed by 2 hours but I was so relieved they got me a 24 ft truck! Quick and easy to schedule. They were one of moving companies that don't have any weird hidden fees, very straight forward hourly fee that includes everything. I got a 2 man crew for a 1 bedroom move (and I have some heavy furniture). They came in the morning as scheduled and moved everything quickly by the afternoon (they also take an unpaid lunch and return quickly).
They do not have mattress protectors but it wasn't an issue. They fit my big flat screen TVs between furnitures and no issues. They also helped with putting my mattress back together!

Ray and his team were amazing. They showed up on time and were professional, quick, and extremely hard working. We told them which stuff we wanted upstairs, in the kitchen, etc., and they took care of it perfectly. None of our stuff was damaged or scratched in the move. And the best part was when it was over and Ray cheerfully welcomed us to our new home. We highly recommend them.

Rock 'n Roll Moving is amazing. The owner responded to all of my messages and calls within 30 minutes (if not sooner). The cost was reasonable and the final bill was in line with the initial quote. The team was flexible on pick up and drop off times. They also had a great attitude considering my husband had them move extremely overpacked book boxes and a ton of free-weights (sorry guys!!) Our 400 mile move could not have gone any more smoothly thanks to Rock n Roll Moving. Highly recommended.

The guys at Rock 'n Roll moving made moving a breeze for us! I requested a quote and they got back to me in less than an hour. Competitive rate without a bunch of added fees like other quotes I received. They showed up on time and made ridiculously quick work of our 1 bedroom apartment despite the 7th floor location at the end of a long hallway with multiple tenants moving in and using the same elevator today. I had requested quotes for my moving job that would be removing all my stuff from storage in San Leandro to my place in the Central valley. They were prompt with the quote and i Chose the 3 movers for $140/hr deal.
Day of move: Met me in San Leandro at 945 am. The truck was filled before noon and we headed on down. The drive was about 90 mins. By the time they unloaded the truck and placed everything where i desired, along with not damaging anything, it was about 345pm. The drive time costs a lil extra. Maybe

They did a great job moving me from my 2nd floor unit to a new split level unit in the same complex a few doors down. I priced out 6 different movers in the area and they had a very competitive rate. They did an excellent job moving some large furniture, taking care not to damage, especially considering the stair case had tight turns. Will be recommending them to friends and family in need of movers.

A nice group of guys that worked hard and quickly, making sure to put things in the rooms I wanted in a three-level townhouse. The job took longer than I initially thought, but mainly because I ended up moving more than I had planned, not needing to be out of my old place for a few weeks. But they were ready with the right equipment at no extra cost to get my extra things moved.
The only thing I'd suggest is that they often put boxes on top of each other in the rooms. Since they knew I just had surgery on my shoulder, they could have considered that stacking boxes made going through them

Ray and his team were very professional and friendly. They were very upfront with pricing and details and made the move relatively painless given we were moving a lot of stuff into an older building in San Francisco! Timing took a bit longer than originally estimated, but we made it work given their hourly rate is pretty good.
