We called Al's Moving for a move from Westchester to Dutchess County. The crew members were friendly but, in my opinion, didn't appear to be professional movers. In the process, some of our items were damaged. In particular an heirloom oak table that was scratched. The crew member attempted to fix it in some haphazard way but it did more harm than good. I called Joey at Al's moving several times and sent many emails advising him of the damage and what we could do to resolIve problem. I cannot say enough for this company. Al, Sandra and Joey are top notch and dedicated to superior customer service and they ensure satisfaction.
I first used them a year ago when I had to move my daughter's apartment furniture and belongings into storage. They were amazing. They made it so easy and completed the move to storage and the actual storage in a quick and friendly manner. When it was time to move the contents to her New Hampshire apartment they were so responsive, explained the cost and breakdown and we were very satisfied with their explanation of pricing.
They arrived today on time

We had a great experience today with Al moving team. My son moved out of his appartement in Rochelle, drop some furniture at my house then moved to Queens. The team of Raul, Victor and Ishmael were amazing! Super efficient, friendly and excellent at problem solving. Moving is always stressful and having that team helping made a huge difference for us. Everything was coordinated by Joe who kept us informed and was very responsive. I highly recommend AL moving. Thank you!

Joey at Al’s moving made a miracle happen today, when I need a 16 foot truck unloaded 3 flights up at 3pm on a Friday on zero minutes notice. My original movers were running hours behind and I would have to pay a huge fine to my new condo for an evening move in. I called Al’s on a wing and a prayer and he sent two guys over in less than an hour. Seriously, I do logistics for a living and cannot explain how lucky we got. The team was efficient, capable, and responsible. 100/10 recommend this company for all moves—I’ll just make sure to book in advance next time!

Overall the movers themselves were great. Management on the other had get 1 star. We got our service on 8/24/2021. Everyone should know they make up their hourly time as they see fit. Our service went 6 hours and 30 minutes and the truck was 30 minutes from their station. However, they decided to charge us for 8 hours. No idea where the extra hour is coming from. Get a flat rate if you use this service. Promises of how fast they will work is underestimated and they will try and use more guys then necessary and ultimately charge for time to make sure they get the money they intend to get. If they

I can't say enough good things about Joe from Al's Moving & Storage. I've reached out and Joe gave me a very fair and reasonable price. I am a victim of domestic violence and my move was covered by a third party so I unfortunately had to go with who they chose, scammers . These scammers last minute got on the phone with me and US Relocation… Services (DON'T EVER USE THEM!!!) and tried to help me resolve this. No luck. Joe CONTINUED to go above and beyond for me. He couldn't help me move but he got me movers that changed their plans to move me. They came last minute and got me out of

My car was hit while parked on the street by Al's moving trucks licence plate # 66128MJ. I have them on the video from a witness that recorded them doing it and also through my surveillance cameras. The driver did not leave a note or my car, instead they just left the scene of the accident. I have been trying to reach the company for few days but no one has returned my calls. Completely unprofessional.

These guys were PHENOMENAL!!! They did an excellent job moving some big, heavy furniture from Queens to Liberty today and I couldn’t be happier. They moved my things out of my house, put all of my belongings in storage. They took my money while I believed my things were safe. When I got everything out, there was extreme water damage, mold, and missing… and broken furniture. I found pieces of furniture in boxes of my clothing. Al laughed at me when I called to discuss the damage while the truck was being loaded and my things taken out of storage. I've had to throw away family photos art, and antiques. They refused to mediate with the Movers Association, would not even respond to their email or offer to make things right in some way
