I called to get a quote. The girl that picked up the phone took my info and then asked about the city. She informed that the project manager doesn't like to work with the city of SUNRISE if it involved permits. Yes, i want a permit, I even have the engineer blue prints recently drawn. She told me that they work with their own engineer and if I wanted to go for it then fine, if not then i needed to forget about it. Literally. I sent the pictures and a top view/sketch of what we had in mind. They followed up with a quote, but since it was done based on pictures and the draft, we decided a meeting was needed. ... I had spent a lot of time looking for a company to handle adding a pool enclosure to our house. I can say that I am extremely pleased with the work done by Juan and the Alumicenter team. I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate. My info was taken and I was called back a week letter with an assigned apt 3 weeks later and was not one of the optional days I gave. The guy showed up and did not even introduce himself. I walked him to the backyard. He took some pictures and measurements. He asked me 2 questions then said ok and started to leave. I had to ask him when I would receive the estimate. He said he would email it to me in 2-3 days. I then asked if he would like to take down my email address. I never received the estimate or any follow up information.

Just had a patio installed by Juan and his team, I could not be more please with the final product. Not only was the price completely on point, but the crew leader (JC) was a pleasure to work with and did a fantastic job of putting up what I believe is a fairly complicated structure. We interviewed a lot of companies before hiring Alumicenter, and got pricing all over the board, but at the end of the day, I believe that we got a great balance of quality and price, which was proven to be correct after the installation.

I called this place many times just to get transferred to a mailbox saying "i'm sorry but the mailbox is full you cannot leave a message at this time, try your call again later". I gave them another try and finally this ignorant lady picks up. I usually like to review my vendors in an effort to provide feedback on my experience in the hopes that this will help others. Prior to awarding Alumicenter with my project I called three different contractors of which one I know personally and its not Alumicenter, for me to choose Alumicenter over somebody that was recommended by someone I have personal ties with was a small challenge , in the end I went with the one that listened to what I wanted and understood what I wanted.

I am extremely pleased with not only the product that Alumicenter delivered, but also their service. I had sent an email request for a quote and received a response (call & email) right away with instructions on how to take measurements on the area I wanted to cover with an awning. Ana was extremely helpful over the phone and really professional and friendly. It happen to be that they had an opening the day after I received the quote and I was able to schedule the work right away. We were trying to get Juan Cohen of to come and give us an estimate for a screen enclosure for our house. After Juan Cohen not calling or not showing up for a scheduled appointment. We thought we would give him another chance (which was 4th cancellation) on the day of the appointment. One hour before the scheduled time he called this time just wanted to reschedule appointment again (changing it for the 5th and final time). The architect has given up his appointments all along to accommodate Mr. Juan Cohen. After a month it was time to say good bye to Juan Cohen and the company(ALUMICENTER).

Of all the aluminum carport/canopy manufacturers I contacted, Alumicenter was the most responsive and provided the most reasonable quote. They were thoroughly professional throughout and communicated promptly, showed up when expected and installed a quality suspended canopy that met or exceeded our expectations.
