John has also helped his two daughters and their husbands grow a portable toilet business that is known for its spotless, high tech units. Together they are working on developing an odorless, biodegradable, anti-freeze portable toilet. John saw the need for scientific answers to the difficult problems of wastewater pollution.

Even though they don't work in our area, ( Tomkins Cove NY), John was generous enough to talk to me about the septic system in the home we are hoping to purchase. This guy knows everything about septic systems, which was great because the property has an old metal tank that has corroded.He is very knowledgable and interested in preserving clean waterways, private well systems etc If I lived in CT I would use this company. I called American Septic Service to ask if they would be available to deal with a failing leach field, letting them know that my son was going to try to fix it himself, but I was hoping they'd be on standby if the job was too big for him. I spoke to John, who I believe runs the business. He took the time to explain to me all the reasons why a septic might overfill, and gave me numerous tips on what to look for and how to fix it. As it turned out, my son was able to fix it after all, but I'm grateful for John's generosity with his time and expertise. I would recommend this company to anyone who

I needed my septic pumped, American Septic came right away and did a great job. There was a leak discovered. John came out to take a look himself, he recommended a plumber who was great and came right away to fix the problem. John was having a heart surgery the next day and he still went out of his way to help. He is truly kind and honest, he also made suggestions to help with other issues I may run into. Very knowledgeable and professional, thank you!

When we were in the process of getting our home ready to sell, one of the things we had to do—according to our realtor—was to get our septic tank inspected. But, as this was our parents’ house, and they had since passed away, we weren’t sure what the status of the septic tank was. We also didn’t know where to find the access point, and myriad other factors involved with this sort of thing. So we called around. Reviews of Sloboda Brothers led me to use them for my most recent septic cleaning and so glad I took the time to contact them. They are a good, honest company with workers who are pleasant and responsible. John was a pleasure to speak with over the phone and communication regarding appt time was excellent.
They saved over HALF of what other companies wanted to charge me and without all the other nonsense charges these other companies want to tack on to your bill!
