We had a very complex scenario where our neighbor's huge oak tree split in half after a few days of heavy autumn rain (suburbs of Boston). Our neighbor's tree trunk closest to our property line fell sideways within inches of crushing our shed because it eventually came to rest entangled in our own huge oak tree in the middle of our own backyard. We were terrified the fallen tree would break through and cause a tremendous amount of destruction to our property and to the property of our other neighbors as well. We contacted Pathfinder and they came right over and gave us an estimate. We agreed on

They came to my brother's house 3 times... the first time they were late and did not do the work that was outlined in the contract. My brother got home to find one of his over 100 year old Hemlock trees cut to the ground when the contract called to leave a five foot 'statue' (stump).
The second had a wedge already cut out way below the five foot mark.
When he called to ask why the work wasn't done as it was written in the contract the Worker Steven said; "Oh now I remember, we were supposed to leave two five foot stumps". Now what?
He called to see if they would cut a six foot long section to

Wow What a GREAT tree company. Had tree work done in Foxboro and the crew was absolutely the best. Very careful with my yard and grass area. After the trees were removed, they were nice enough to spread the chips so that we could place the kids trampoline in the back area. Lucas and Nick were great to work with for scheduling this large project. A big Thank You to the hard working crew: Cory B., Mike B, Chris, Ian, Mac and Mike S.

I’d give them a zero star if I could. After one of the last storms in late March I had a tree fall at a 45 degree angle that needed to come down or it would/will eventually fall on the House. After having Pathfinder come do an estimate they basically said I needed 3 trees to come down, which I don’t think 3 needed to come down. Two maybe, but certainly not three. But whatever, I needed the one down ASAP so I agreed to the service. Weeks go by and no call (they said they would call before they come so the work) so I call and ask when they are coming. First response is “a few weeks”.... another

The two stars in that the tree was taken down and the crew was very nice back in August. However, after they chipped the trunk and roots down, they did not completely spread the chips over the area but left a mound preventing us from adding soil to plant grass seed. I called Lucas and eventually a very nice man came with a baby front loader ( a shovel would have done the job), and the mound of chips was taken away. BUT, each time he turned the front loader on our sidewalk, it left a dent and loose asphalt. The town had done all the sidewalks about a year or so ago. My husband was not very happy
