Hello, my name is Adail Bastos and I am the President and Founder of Adail Bastos Roofing. Our mission is to be the most reliable roofing company in San Diego. We have over 15 years of experience installing roofs in all weather conditions from sun, to rain, to snow, always providing the best service, quality materials and reasonable prices.
Some people may think a roof is a roof. However, there is a difference between a residential roof and a commercial roof. Damage to either type of roof can be expensive and can lower the value of the property. Both also require the use of quality materials and proper installation by a professional roofing company.
Adail was great. Very professional and knowledgeable. I was getting an estimate for soffit and gutter repair and he noticed that a previous roofer had failed to tape down the rubber porch roof to the drip edge and water was getting into the beam below (a fact I confirmed with a different roofer whose estimate I did not use).

Adail Bastos Roofing sets the standard! He is personable, honest, and good at his job. His workers are reliable, friendly, and hard-working. Our 20-year old roof was not done well in the first place. We had some leaks and termite damage. Adail and his team are wonderful. From initially meeting Adail when my roof was leaking through the last day of work, they were kind, respectful, and professional. They were able to strip down the roof, inspect for rotted wood, and replaced the entire roof in a very short timeframe (even tried to start early, but my schedule wouldn't allow it). Being I was home, Adail took me up on the roof and showed me everything they were doing for clarity and took pictures along the way. Have you ever paid a stranger thousands of dollars for a job and at the end of it, want to be friends with them and their family!? I say that just to preface what I'm about to say. We needed to do some roof maintenance on our home and called 2 places - Adail was so fast and was able to come take a look at the roof within 30 minutes. He got up on our roof and noticed some tiles were displaced and immediately helped put them back as we were expecting a heavy rainstorm the next day and he didn't want us to have any issues. I had one loose roof tile that somehow flipped up so it was sticking straight up in the air. I called Adail based on his outstanding Yelp reviews and told him I had a very small job. He told me he had a small company with only two employees and most of his jobs were small. Adail and his helper showed up on time, were friendly, masked and professional. I noticed a leak in my interior walls (between the bath and the living room). Called my favorite plumber (5 Star Plumbing) to look at the issue. After he opened the drywall he narrowed the problem down to the drain vent. He checked the attic then the roof and found the problem: the vent on the roof had dried out the caulking around the vent and opened a crack for the water to enter the house.

I had a leak around my bedroom skylight and Adail Bastos Roofing took care of it. Work was done in a timely matter, excellent service. Adail went beyond what expected and did some additional caulking around the edges of my balcony. He was honest too and advised me not to consider replacing the roof yet. I knew when I moved into this house in January that the roof was old but those heavy rains in Feb/Mar (thought I had moved to Portland!) revealed some major problems. After looking through yelp I gave 4 roofers a call, Adail responded right away. Excellent job by Adail and his team! We needed to have the underlayment replaced and wanted to keep the old tiles. Other companies who provided a quote tried to talk us into replacing all the tiles and doing all sorts of other things we did not want. Adail had a look at the tiles and told us they were still in good shape. He quoted us a reasonable price for the job we wanted him and his team to do.

I needed a new roof and I selected this company. They were able to start the project the next week, and were finished in three days. They did some extras for me beyond what was in the contract. Rare! Recommended with NO reservations! We had a leak in our roof that the previous owners had so graciously and secretly left us. I did my research and asked for a number of quotes...Adial was the only company who showed immediately and though very busy, he rearranged his schedule knowing we needed a fix asap, he was hired on the spot! They showed up to fix an entire storage unit leaky roof on our property as well as patch a hole in another storage unit. Adail was so professional. His pricing was very reasonable and we're very happy with his work. He does excellent work, he is licensed & has insurance. That was key factor in choosing him because we had other work done and they messed up. The roof was only 3 years old and leaking already. Adail found our leaks when he removed our new shingles. He's very kind and seems very honest. He doesn't like to take shortcuts. Very competitive prices. I recommend you call for a quote.
