Sam was INCREDIBLE! He was so professional and kind and so open to our design ideas for our stair railing inside out home. He literally came out and measured ONE time, got clear on what we wanted, and two weeks later... BAM he and his crew walk in and install our beautiful, well built (I am a welder myself, so I can tell when welds have been done well), perfectly sized custom railing. I 1000% recommended him for anyone needing to get iron/steel work done for their home. His pricing was great, his crew was fast and clean, and he was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end!

I already wrote one review but had to write another as I am just so mad! We paid Sam 18,000. to build us a fence to keep our dogs in. We made it clear why we wanted a fence. The fence does look nice. We should have walked the entire fence however as there are not one, but at least two places where the fence not only does not get close to the ground but has quite a huge gap from the ground to the bottom of fence. Had I known this I would have asked him to bring the fence down to the ground. Our dogs have been getting out so we checked it out to fix it and it is so bad! My husband called Sam and

After paying more than a hefty price tag for our vinyl fence, not only does our dog still get out, our double sided gate doesn't work properly and never has! They came out onCw and did some crap repair and it has been a PIA for the last year! Now it's completely stuck and my lawn guy can't get in my backyard for 2 weeks! Mr Sams said he was sending someone out last week! That was a lie! Now he wants 250 at least to come out! Exact same latch on single gate works perfectly! Sam provides absolute top-quality work. The finished product, a 3 foot fence with gate atop my backyard wall, was installed by two very professional technicians. They were fast, courteous and cleaned everything up when done. Sam fabricates the fences in his own facility from American steel--- none of that cheaply made imported stuff. The finish is powder coating available in a wide variety of colors. We chose a dark brownish red to blend with our neighbors' red tile roofs. The finished result is perfect and will last for many, many years! We highly recommend Sam for any and all fencing

Don't bother contacting this company. I couldn't get them to come out and give me a bid. After contacting the company twice about a week to 10 days apart, Sam finally called May 13th in the morning and wanted to come out at 12:00. We had another guy coming at 11:00 and I thought 12:00 was too soon and I asked him to come at 12:30 or 1:00. He said he didn't have his calendar with him and would have to call me. He never did. Guess he didn't like the competition. News flash, it's standard to get 3 bids. And it was very rude as well to not follow up with me after I had called

Sam was wonderful to work with on our front courtyard entry gate. First, he showed up when he said he would, and that is huge for me. I value my time as well as other's, so I really appreciated the scheduling process which to me is indicatative of how the whole interaction will be. Sam called to confirm the day of, and showing up exactly as he said he would.

Among the best contractors we've ever hired or worked with, Sam is a conscientious, experienced professional. This 2nd project was far more complicated than our first, and even more so since it involved co-ordinating deck construction on a slope, landscapers removing bushes and roots, older fence demolition AND installing a temporary fence to prevent a curious German shepherd from taking off to explore. Today on the 8 west in El Cajon, a Sam's Fences white suv being driven by a female was driving erratically. She wasn't using her blinkers. She cut off dozens of cars while wearing in and out of traffic. After she had cut me off and proceeded to slam on her brakes to swerve around another car, she started checking her phone.. Complete and utter insanity. Not only was she endangering myself and my family, she was also endangering herself and the reputation of the company she's representing. Sam took very good care of me along with his employees, You can tell they have a passion for this stuff and for their jobs to look perfect, this is not just another job to them. I am completely satisfied with the work done and the results. His pricing was very competitive and his follow up and support on any questions I had was top notch. I've lived in my Scripps Ranch home for 46 years so lots of contractors have done work here. My experiences have run the gamut from bad to good but Sam Khoury (of Sam's Fence) has been outstanding! Custom work done promptly and on time. Not the cheapest but able to construct/install a great product, exactly the way we wanted it done. Sam, himself, is very personable and a good man to deal with. Sam did an excellent job installing railings in my backyard and down to the garage. He was prompt and reliable and professional.
While at my house my husband had a bad fall and he got his first aid kit and helped us get him bandaged up so I could drive him to emergency room. When I left Sam power washed my front steps to clean all the blood. Thank gosh he and his crew were there for us! Could not have asked for a better job or better people!!

It's a shame to have the only review showing for Sam's be someone that didn't have him do the work for them. Granted, timeliness of scheduling and return calls are important.
That said, Sam's quality of labor was outstanding. His team came and put in a wrought iron fence and a matching gate over our front door.
