I have been waiting to leave this review hoping our job would be completed. Overall they did a good job. We had several projects for them from wood fence construction, two chain link fences, an aluminum fence and a new wood gate door. It was so hard in the first place to even find a fence company to provide us a bid (this was back in December / January this year). Several other fence companies came out but never actually follows through with an estimate. Robb was responsive and knew what he was doing. We received our estimate from him in a timely manner. This guy is a total wackjob. He came to my house to do an estimate for a simple 6 foot wooden fence in my backyard and instantly started spouting off the wall Qanon conspiracy theories at me. I basically told him "ill call you" and he left. His work truck was covered in Qanon stickers and propaganda.
Later that week I told my buddy about my experience and what he had said and my buddy told me that this guy lives on the same street as him up in Ramona CA, and he supposedly plasters their entire neighborhood with Qanon stickers banners and all sorts of propaganda.

He woke the residents as he battled the flames saving not only them but the neighborhood as well. On February 11, 2020, Manny Garcia and I entered into a contract to have a fence installed in my backyard. And front gate in front yard.
The day that Manny came out to measure the backyard and presented the quote for the job it was never mentioned of slope or pitch. I would have delayed or canceled the work if there was any mention of either. I paid up front deposit to have material ordered for the job.
So San Diego Fence had my credit card information.
The day Jeff from San Diego Fence came out for the job he didn't mention anything about the backyard issues.

Had someone come out to look at my fence/gates to provide an estimate. He said it was a small project but would send me a quote in a day or two. It's been a week and haven't heard back. He also said that they were 4-5 weeks out but I'm sure if I was replacing my entire backyard with new fencing, he'll probably squeeze me in next week.

We couldn't be happier with the service and work provided! Dan called right back and was out quickly to look at our property. He got us a quote right away and we booked the job immediately.
Tony and Michael came out to install the fencing for a dog run, repair the fencing on the perimeter of our property, install several gates and add mesh to our driveway gate. Their work is top notch! They arrived right on time, worked hard and got the job done as scheduled.

I own a small business downtown and needed a hi-quality, storage area fenced off from floor to ceiling. Dan gave me a great price and the crew did an amazing job creating this safe haven for my personal property. The fencing is beautiful, heavy duty and very secure. Needless to say, I am thrilled. We just finished our fence project with San Diego Fence Co and we were extremely pleased with the finished product in addition to the professionalism of the sales team and crew. We were unhappy initially with the way the gate was positioned against the house and our project manager had the crew out there the very next day to rectify the situation and ensure we were happy with the finished result. Six messages later, they finally called to schedule an appointment for an estimator to see us first thing Saturday morning.
After waiting around all morning on Saturday, at noon they called to say he wasn't going to make it and rescheduled for 8am Monday morning. I called 20 minutes after he was due to arrive, left a message (they NEVER answer their phone), and my husband left for work.
The "estimator" finally showed up 30 minutes later, didn't introduce himself, didn't give me a business card, didn

FINALLY a fence company who solved our 20 plus year issue with our automatic electric driveway gate! We have had several gate/fence companies out over the years who managed to get our gate running smoothly for awhile, only to have the same issues return within six months or so. Kevin, foreman at San Diego Fence, came out and gave us his opinion as to why we continued to have problems. We thought we would need to replace the entire gate/track and/or motor. Not so. No longer there. Apparently they tried to update their Yelp info, but .... Phone number still good, but they are in Santee. Rep said they only do installs now, no more supplies, so DIY and contractors need to look elsewhere. Dixieline order the parts I needed so that was okay. Not as easy as it was with SD Fence when I needed custom gate or fence supplies. Oh well.

I've used San Diego Fence twice. Once for a small job to replace a shared fence that needed to match the existing fence. Although we partially chose them because of the price, the quality and professionalism in each of the initial meeting for a quote, timeliness and accuracy of the quote and then the installation of the fence was excellent. So when I needed a much longer fence (and nicer - horizontal Redwood) I had 3 other companies that had good reviews on Yelp in addition to SD Fence come out to bid. Well, SD Fence (and Bret) did it again. Super professional - super smooth process

San Diego Fence Company did an outstanding job placing a fence in our condo complex so we could control the traffic to only residents. There quote was very comparative and reasonable. I worked with Scott and he made everything very easy from meeting me and listening to what I needed, quickly delivered a very understandable quote and was there to answer any questions I had. I knew exactly what I wanted...exactly how many feet was needed...and since I had gotten estimates elsewhere already, knew everything they needed to know to give me a quote.
Yet when I asked for a "ballpark idea" of what it would cost, was told "$150,000". Mind you, we are talking about a fence that's less than 300 ft, and should cost around $6000.
They were unprofessional, and rude!! Don't use them if you an possibly avoid it.

I want to make a heart felt thank you to SD Fence. We had a fence installed around our pool 18 (!) years ago as we moved in with four small children. I received a 20 year warranty in 1996 and it was funny, as I made a call for repairs, that the work order number system had changed and the employee who set up the bid had long since retired. Recently the fence gate mooring broke and the gate began to lean over terribly. San Diego Fence came out and fixed the fence, with a smile, and in so doing made for very happy customers.

San Diego Fence installed our ornamental iron gate and fences many years ago. Everything was great until our landscapers started propping open the gate while working. The hinge no longer automatically closed the gate, which concerned me since the gate leads to a pool. I called the company and they had someone out the next day and fixed the hinge for no charge!
A few months ago I saw their signs on all of the fences at PetCo park and was even more impressed that they responded to me so quickly.
