I'm writing this review as a warning to anyone else that either decides to hire this joke of a company or gets them contracted out through Lowes. Just like Amy W's issue -- we had a cali bamboo floor installed, which actually took these bozos about 3 months to finally come out (after 3-4 times) to get the job done. We were also told it would take 3-4 days and I was shocked to come home and find them done within 1 day. Unfortunately, they half assed the whole installation which you can hopefully see from the pictures.

I had a terrible experience with Pro Carpet/Pro installation through the Gurnee Lowe's. At first, the service seemed good. They came out a total
if three times before installing my Cali Bamboo. The first time they unpacked and stacked my flooring and the other two times they came to check to see if my floors were acclimated. The install was sop posed to take 3-4 days, so I was pleased that it was done in 1 1/2 days. I had to work, so my mother was there during the installation. After a while I noticed a few little things that were not done correctly. Then after 3 weeks away, my floors

Terrible terrible experience with installer Dennis. He came back to our house to 'fix' our faux wood laminate flooring. He came out 3 or 4 more times and the last time he told me he would fix my gaps between boards by putting putty in between them. They finally sent someone else out to tell us all of the problems. My lord. A new installer came out (roughly 2 years later because we were still having problems with transition pieces popping, gapping between boards, uneven pieces) and he sanded the heck out of the floors because original installer never leveled the floors. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. (I would rate zero stars if possible.) We got a deal on Groupon for $45 for 3 bedrooms and 1 hallway, but when they got here, they demanded $95 saying our carpet was too soiled and needed all these extra treatments. Because of the huge upcharge (more than TWICE the original price!), I told them I would consult my roommate first and get back to them. Later I talked to them over the phone and asked if we could get a discount because we wanted the pet soil treatment for 2 rooms ONLY, not all 4. We agreed on $65 over the phone, but when they got

AFTER CARPETS WERE "CLEANED" THE VERY NEXT DAY, ALL THE STAINS WERE BACK AGAIN. YOU COULDN'T EVEN TELL I GOT MY CARPETS CLEANED AT ALL. I CALLED THEM BACK TO LET THEM KNOW AND TO SEE ABOUT SENDING SOMEONE BACK OUT AND ALL I GOT WAS EXCUSES. I TRY TO SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES, BUT I WILL NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. Absolutely horrible! I found them on Groupon and then paid an additional $70 for a "deep clean." I think deep clean to this company means dump a ton of water on your carpets and leave. All the stains reappeared once dry. In addition, they were 2 hours late. Rude, shady, late and just plain no carpet cleaning skills. Honestly, avoid at all costs!

I will vouch for these reviews, did me the same way!!! Bought from Groupon guy came out & tried to "upgrade" me to another "package" that was offering the same stuff I had already purchased for an additional $95 and when I told him no he got an attitude, considering my carpet looks the same as it did when he got here but wet I would assume he used nothing but steamy water!!!! Never again will I use a small company carpet cleaner. Zero Rez from here on out!!!!

I bought a voucher for "Carpet Cleaning, Deodorizer, and Scotchguard for Five Rooms and a Hallway" on Living Social.
Said they'd be there at 5p. Then 6:30p. Then 7p. Then 7:20p. Then 7:35p. They show up at 7:52pm. SERIOUSLY?!?
And then they proceed to argue and bargain with me like a used car salesman saying I had to pay an additional $115 for deep clean, pet package, deodorizer, and stain removal or the carpets wouldn't be clean. AND they charge a hidden $4 "fuel charge." I refused to pay the additional and then he refused to do the service saying

I wouldn't hire Pro Carpet for quality cleaning. We took the Groupon coupon last time. The person who came to clean was very nice. He did suggest we add on the $50 deep cleaning because we had dogs, which we did. We had 3 rooms and a hallway done. I could have done just as good, or better, with a standard carpet cleaner from a store. Don't waste your money.

Nice people but...total rip off. I bought a Groupon for $49 and they kept adding additional costs and end up with a total of $228 for 4 rooms and a hallway and it's not even cleaned. It improved a little but still looks soiled. For that price, I expected it to be clean. I spent that much because I expected my carpet would be spotless but never again will I let them persuade me into spending like that again.
In addition, they called me back for a survey and I told them about the situation and they said someone will call me back in regards to that and never again did I hear from them.

I recently have had a very bad experience with Pro Carpet. In my opinion, this company is very dishonest and unprofessional. This company has no clue about customer service. I got into the $94.95 deal (for 7 rooms and 2 halls) and I told them that I just wanted a basic steamed cleaning and deodorized as advertised. The guy showed up at my door without a smile and did not call ahead. He gave me quote of $158.95. I told him that I was given a quote of $118.95 because I have 7 rooms and stairs. He called the company and they said that they had no record of it. They just lied in front of my face..
