Jess has been our architect on several projects over the past ten years. He is easy to work with, and his designs are interesting and thoughtful. He always carefully listens to our ideas and is able to create a plan that meets our needs both as individuals and as a family. We highly recommend Jess Pedersen Architecture.
This is what happens when the architect is the client. The west elevation is a continuation of the corrugated rusty metal roof- protecting the structure for the prevailing west winds- similar to how an oyster might orient its shell against the current. The remaining Elevations are clad with untreated cedar rain wall screen.

We chose Jess as our architect after seeing some of the homes and remodels he had designed. Jess was easy to work with and drew up a beautiful house based on our wants and budget. He listened when we voiced concerns or asked for modifications and discussed the practicality and budget implications of our ideas. His guidance was invaluable! The result is that we now live in a wonderful home that fits our lifestyle beautifully. And, although we have only lived here 7 months, one of our friends was so impressed with our home he has already contracted Jess to design his new home. We wholeheartedly recommend

He surely helped us to create our dream home and bring our vision to life and we are thrilled with the collaborative outcome.
