The receptionist was very rude, does not feel like a family ran business.
I came in offering them help & instantly felt unwelcomed.
They were not busy at all.
Its hard not to think if i was white they would have heard me out.
The location is terrible, i just stopped by after visiting another store near by & will never come back

I had a multi-task job that involved replacing siding, painting, removing dry rot, and placing flooring. Hex contractors did it all, and did it fast and well. I could not be happier with the result, if I ever need anything else done, Hex will get the job. They are experts in their field.

Hex General Contractors remodeled our kitchen and an adjoining area to a high standard. The work started on time and was finished in three weeks as promised. The workmen were clean, courteous and skilled. The quartz slabs were installed with a minimum number of joints and the new cabinetry is superb with a professionally installed quality. The plumbing and lighting enhance the ambiance of our new kitchen. All areas of concern were acted on amicably and quickly. It was a pleasure working with Alexei, the site manager.

Contacted Hex to replace our siding, remodel our master bathroom, fix some of the master bedroom drywall, and to replace the windows downstairs and in the master bedroom. Rob was very professional and provided us with our initial quote and Alexey came out to provide an updated quote since we added a few extra projects. The crew Hex sent was very professional and courteous - whenever they saw something during the demo process, they would come get me and point out where there would be any issues. Hex called me on a cold call offering remodeling services. I was interested in bathroom remodeling so even though I normal don't like solicitors calling I agreed to an appointment with them. They set up to come to my house between 1-1:30PM that day to give me a quote. I rearranged my work day schedule for the day to take some time to go home and meet the rep from Hex. I got a call at 1:25pm ( the end of the agreed window ) stating they would be about another hour possibly more before they would arrive. I got the impression they had booked another visit in Davis on top of my scheduled

WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH!! We just used Hex Contractors to replace our windows and they did a fantastic job!! Our experience started with Rob Rocha giving us a very fair estimate for the window replacement, he was easy to work with and a straight shooter. Once the windows arrived we were able to work with Alexey Beliy and his field team, they were very efficient and worked hard replacing 29 windows in a little over 2 days. I think I was most surprised by how clean they kept their work environment. Some of our windows had to be broken in order to actually get the frames out, but the guys working

We have a crazy tall house that was improperly sided with little to no flashing and just meh.
After the wildfire we wanted a more fire resistant material and our house needed siding bad. So we called around got bids and well frankly we lucked out!
Alexey and his whole crew were amazing. We have remodeled many homes and this was absolutely the best experience (and we have had some doozies)! Our house looks amazing now. I cannot say enough good stuff about Hex. They are responsive and did things right. They cleaned up every night which made my wife happy.
We are already planning our next projects

These guys are AWESOME! Very fair pricing and extreme pride in their work. I was given very realistic expectations regarding timeline, pricing, and different options. Alexey worked with me to help design and complete what started as a kitchen remodel and turned into nearly a whole interior remodel that turned out amazing! What impressed me most was each of the individual workers; each was very hard working, punctual, communicative regarding issues as they arose, and took great pride in their work that was always approached with a high level of professionalism. I wanted to amend my previous review. This updated review is based on consultation and quote Only. Robbie Rocha came to my home and we discussed what I would like to do in my kitchen and bedrooms. He was pleasant. After he looked and measured, he said he would email a quote to me. I asked that bedroom floors and kitchen be quoted separately. I was expecting an email at least three days after his appointment. I waited a week then I emailed and sent a text asking for the quote. After several more days I was upset thinking apparently he decided not to bother with me. So my one star review was

Hex absolutely exceeded our expectations of new James Hardie exterior siding and Andlin Window installations. Hardie comes with a 15 year factory paint warranty and Andlin windows have a Double Lifetime warranty. Rob, the estimator showed up exactly on time and gave us a no pressure, fast and fair bid. Working over the holidays and through Covid they were still able to complete the job in a timely manner with all deliveries and change orders scheduled perfectly. We couldn't be happier with the work Hex did for us. We hired them to reside our 1968 home. Not only did they do excellent, quality work, but daily they cleaned up the job site and took extra consideration to fix up certain outdoor elements that would have kept the out of date feel of the external image of the house.
Lexi and Vic were both incredibly kind and helpful in determining color schemes and offering input on various aspects of the job.

After 3 quotes I went with HEX General and couldn't have had a better experience with a contractor. This was a large siding project which included stripping it down to the studs and adding new sheer wall, Hardy siding & trim. The team was consistently courteous and professional, staying on schedule and in consistent communication the entire time. Quality of materials and craftsmanship is superb. I have found the general contractor to use for all my projects moving forward. Thanks HEX.

Alexei Beli and his crews are professional, responsive, respectful of their constructions sites. I live in the Oakland Hills, and watched them remodel two houses before hiring them to replace my shake siding and interior stairs. Our cooperation on my job has led to a neighborhood gem. I just had my kitchen remodeled by HEX. They did a great job and I have recommended them to all my friends. I got 4 bids and they were one of the lowest. I liked Alexy better than the other contractor. He was professional but caring. I waited until I saved all of the money maybe 6 months and had them do a detailed estimate which wasn't too much higher even with the new tariffs. Alexy offered some upgrades that I agreed on. First let me say that the supervisor Vick was wonderful and every single person who worked on the kitchen was kind, friendly, hardworking, and accommodating. Alexy
