We had a particularly unusual and tricky installation. Despite his very busy schedule, Jay visited several times to make sure that we bought a product that would work for us and that we would be happy with. Plus his was the only company that carried a product line that would actually work for us. Well, he knocked it out of the park! Because of the difficulty of the installation, he personally oversaw it on the day that his excellent (and very nice) installers put up the awning. We LOVE it! I couldn’t be happier with my new awning. It’s fantastic! I am now able to enjoy my morning coffee while watching the neighborhood birds or read a book in the afternoon in total comfort. I’m amazed at how much cooler my deck is with the awning out. It operates very smoothly and the wind sensor is great. The install was quick/easy and the installers explained everything I needed to know clearly and concisely before leaving.

My motor-driven awning worked flawlessly but its fabric was faded and mildewed, so I paid Mr Awnings to install new fabric. Three months later Mr Awnings' technicians did so. I was out of town that day, but the next day when I tried to extend the awning, it would not move. After several tries, it extended, but then it would not retract. After several tries it retracted but it moved abnormally slowly; and then it would not extend again. Apparently the motor's protective thermostat had been cutting off power. Inspecting the awning, I saw that the fabric was cockeyed; it was not rolling straight,

The large choice of colors, sizes, and accessories was wonderful so I could customize what I wanted. Installation was even more smooth, and very professional. No mess left behind. I used the services of Mr. Awning for much needed shade to enjoy the benefits of having a deck that got full sun. I called Mr. Awning and a very helpful Paula was my go to person for the home visit and the date of installation plus any questions I may have had before the installation. The representative who came to my home was prompt and went over the options for materials, extra features such as strip lighting and powered electrically, placement of the awning, and explained if having powered operated the need to hire an electrician for an outside outlet. We worked with this company we were not very happy. While sauntering through BJ's one day we came across this company acting as an agent for sunsetter awnings and had them come out to do an estimate. Be prepared to buy immediately as you are told we can't give you this "great price" unless you buy this very minute. Of course we were told that you have three days to cancel but good luck getting a hold of Jay. When Jay came out he assured us he knew everything about the sunsetter shade,but if he did he forgot to tell us things, like the sun is going to sneak under your shade

Both my husband and I work full time so the only time we are available for doing an estimate is on weekends and we really appreciate that sunspaces can accommodate our inflexible schedule. Sunspaces rep showed up this morning within the agreed time frame and provided estimates with different options. He brought a tablet and from which he was able to show us different color and material options, which we found helpful. He's very friendly and professional at the same time. Our situation required a custom installation to accommodate our building design. Jay came up with a solution requiring the fabrication of a 13 foot rigid aluminum beam, special mounting plates, and building soffit modifications. The installation team visited in advance to confirm that Jay's design would work. After the Sunesta awning and aluminum beam were fabricated, the installation team returned to complete the job. The installation plus operating instructions took less than 3 hours and everything works perfectly. I found Sunspaces to be a pleasure to deal with. Paula was pleasant

The Sunesta awning arrived last week and was installed today. Sunspaces kept us updated on the manufacturing progress and scheduled and completed the installation within 4 days after the awning arrived. The installers arrived on time and completed the install in less than 3 hours. They demonstrated how to operate the motor and lights. They also demonstrated the automatic retraction system if there is too much wind. We are very happy with the excellent customer service throughout the process. Highly recommend this company for their selection, installation and service.

This company should be ashamed at how it practices business. I called and scheduled an appointment for an awning estimate and was able to get an appointment in the next couple days. We were given a thirty minute time window for arrival. Once the 30 minutes passed, we received a phone call that they would be 30 minutes late at most. Annoying, but I'm reasonable and understand companies are busy. 40 minutes later, I called the office asking where they were. I was told they couldn't find my house although it is on main street and easily located (no one has ever had a problem finding it)
