They were booking a few weeks out, so I scheduled for a Friday afternoon. After reading the reviews noting scheduling issues, I called 4 days before to confirm my appointment. Then, I called the day before and confirmed my appointment again. They told me that the crew would be on site for my chimney cleaning and inspection on Friday afternoon.
So Friday rolls around and I take ETO from work so that I can be there for the chimney folks. No call, no show. I called the office around 3:30 to ask what was going on, and they said they could be showing up any time up until 6:00PM! In the real world,

I really don’t even know where to begin with chimney chumps.
I was told to give a $550 deposit for a project which I did and they charged me $1100, pulled a no show and won’t return the $$ I reached out to the owner chuck the duck and he refuses to answer me. I also agree with all these other ⭐️ reviews,this company is out to get people 100%

Called Chimney Champs to install a new wood stove insert. Bob showed up on time and walked me through the process; he then discussed in length the best liner to go with ensuring our safety as priority. Liner was delayed a bit that is on continued supply issues. Bob, Dana and Dan came same day the stove was delivered - and completed the work efficiently. They cared about my house and made sure to clean up during and after the job. All workers were friendly and respectful. Made this experience easy in every aspect. STAY AWAY! Their communication is horrible, their planning is non-existent, their scheduling means nothing, their work is often rushed and reckless.
My chimney was in very bad shape. I hired Chimney Champs to rebuild it from the foundation. New fireboxes, smoke chambers, exterior, liner to the furnace, inspection. On the first day of work, things started going badly. First, they changed the scope to a ‘restoration’. Come to find out later, this meant no inspection. As they were doing work, I found out they did not rebuild the fireboxes or smoke chambers, only “added support and structure”

I have used Chimney Champs in the past and have loved them and gave a good review. Don’t know if they have new people, but this year’s experience was terrible. Was told they’d be here between 8-12. No show, no call. I called and was told she would check with techs and call me back. An hour later, no call back so I called and was told she doesn’t see my appt. ??? She said she would contact techs to see if they could still come in the afternoon. No call back. No show. Called the next day, no answer and voicemail was full. Called the next day. She said she could reschedule for a Sat so I wouldn’t

I called during the busy Easter holiday weekend for emergency service. The interior of my chimney eroded over the years causing an unsafe condition, ie. smoke was entering my home from a leak in the chimney flue. Well my house was full of relatives staying for the weekend so I imagined a disaster when the chimney guys arrived and I also anticipated a emergency holiday weekend fee on my bill.

They were good at first. They did a great job and then they came to clean later in the day and they sent some guys that were incapable of cleaning. They broke the flue on the chimney and told me they would send me a estimate to fix it. They broke it and I am supposed to fix it. NOT! I thought I would give them a second chance and had them replace my chimney. They were the biggest slobs and left my yard a mess. Never again.
