We have extensive experience developing designs for conservation organizations and environmentally mindful clients that express their conservation values. This understanding guides us in imagining alternative design solutions that realize client needs. A cemetery is an expression of its community - it is a repository of the history of a place and it serves the profound needs of the present.

We honor this awareness by developing design concepts that express the unique character of each cemetery and its locale. We believe that the design of the landscape should express the values of the institution. We are careful to respond positively to ADA access issues in given settings so that accessible ways appear as natural expressions of the landscape, rather than discordant structures.

Institutional project work, including master plans and design for botanical gardens, museums and academic institutions, is a primary focus at Verdant. We are the urban designers of today, trained to be great organizers who understand the complexities of the urban environment and improve upon the modern city.
