I have been doing heating and air conditioning for longer than I care to remember (33+ years). Most of that time has been as an employee for other contractors, but in July of 2010 I decided to follow my heart and go out on my own. See, I love what I do, but this industry has evolved into a sales first approach and being a Christian I tend to think of others first (I put myself in the client's position).

I discovered my Air Conditioning wasn't working after they were closed. I went on their website and submitted a "contact us". I received an email that night that they would call me in the morning. I did receive a call early in the morning to schedule a time for them to come out. They offered that morning (I had something else scheduled) or afternoon. Adam, who was great and very knowledgeable came that afternoon and got it fixed. I will continue to use them for my system!

We had a home inspector look at the home we were buying. He said "HVAC unit was turned on at start of inspection, unit is not cycling correctly." The sellers of the home hired Richmond Brothers to look at the unit. Their tech said "Technician checked system thoroughly and found system was running properly." When we moved in I noticed something wasn't right with the unit and called Richmond Brothers again. The same tech came out and said nothing was wrong with the unit again. about a week later my heat was completely out and I called another company that confirmed that the unit wasn't cycling properly

I was in line at the McDonald’s drive thru on Stanton Way in Lexington. This business owner was backing out of a parking spot in front of the door. I motioned for the vehicles behind me to back up. They did and I did to allow him to get out of his parking spot and leave. But instead of leaving, he pulling into the space in front of me I had… created to let him out. I called the number on the truck. A lady answered. I told her to look behind her at the five vehicles that were in the line before them. The lady was not aggressive with me but said they had parked with the extend to go

Our air conditioning unit went out on a Friday and they made sure we were comfortable going into the weekend, and helped us to be able to stay in our home instead of a hotel in this hot July weather. From the initial contact with Sport, the technician, Larry, whom my wife dealt with directly while I was at work, to Taylor when I called to pay my bill over the phone, this entire company was great to deal with. The thing that stuck out the most was how cordial and personable everyone came across on the phone. In today’s hectic pace of this thing we call “life”, it is so important to remember that we all still deserve to be treated the way Richmond Brothers Mechanical treated us. These people had an extremely difficult job here at my house. A change out with the air handler in the attic and outside temps near 90. They did the job and some with no complaints and came out multiple times soaking wet. It was a husband and wife install team and they were absolutely amazing to watch them together. The office was also top notch… and rushed to get the job scheduled for us knowing how long we had been without. The gentleman that came out and wrapped things up and started the new equipment was also exceptional and knowing what kind of space was in the attic never complained

Glad I found Richmond Mechanical on FB. I've used them and recommended them to others for several years. They are a true service company and I really appreciate their integrity. When other HVAC companies told us, "The entire unit needs to be replaced", Richmond Mechanical actually diagnosed the issue, found the solution and competently performed the needed repair. It saved us thousands!
