Freeform swimming pools can compliment many home and landscape styles but often work best on larger properties. Freeform pools are anything from boring allowing for the integration of lush landscaping, slides, waterfalls and other features. There's no limit to the available features for a freeform pool design.
The design and construction requirements of a beautiful, fun and safe commercial pool design are vastly more complex than even the most luxurious or intricate residential swimming pool. Not only is the scale of a commercial swimming pool often much larger, but they must also meet the needs of a diverse variety of swimmers, and adhere to specific safety standards.
Infinity edge pools create the visual effect of water vanishing or extending off into the horizon, as there are no visible edges on one side of the pool. An infinity pool is also referred to as a vanishing edge or zero edge swimming pool because of this visual effect created by water as it spills over the edge into a catch basin that pumps it back into the pool.

I had Josh take a look at our space where we wanted our pool. We had setbacks that were going to make it difficult to even have one. He had a design to me rather quickly that we liked a lot. He then was able to create that exact design in our space. Very happy with the overall design and quality of our pool. They have a great pool service as well. Our pool looks great weekly.

Bought spa a Hot Springs from Atkinson years ago. It has been a great spa and has worked very well for the most part. On the occasions when something needed to be done I would call Atkinson and their service tech was pretty prompt and got it done. Now, unfortunately things have changed. Twice in the past 3 months I have called about necessary repairs. The first time, after several messages going unanswered, I finally spoke to someone who said that a repair tech would be in touch. It never happened. They never called. Fortunately the spa "healed itself" and began working, not perfectly but well

I am beyond satisfied with the finished product Josh Atkinson and his team completed for me. I met with 5 different companies and knew Atkinson was the choice when Josh presented his designs. I had recently lost my spouse in an accident and wanted to incorporate certain items and materials and Josh truly listened. I was in awe of the design he developed and the way he incorporated the required Buddha statue as a memorial. My friends and family enjoy the space as much as I do. I also contracted for weekly maintenance and have been completely satisfied. Highly recommend this company.

They seemed to be on their game at first. Quick to respond but after that it was down hill. They came out to check a problem with the pump but I had to contact them to find out what the estimate was. We had an obvious cracked nut on the pump which I think he assumed was the problem. After a $220 "fix" there was no change in how the pump was operating and they said the problem must be under ground. Well what about the $220 I just spent that you said was the problem!? How did you come to that conclusion?! Horrible customer service and would not recommend.

Local Atkinson Service department is poor- unresponsive and not customer oriented. Also there is no sharing of information/data between installation department and service department. Pool pump failed in less than a year. Called service department and they were unaware Atkinson had installed my pool. Developed a pipe leak within two years of installation. Service department failed to take my call during business hours or to call back after I left a message. I called them a second time and they were not very knowledgeable of pool leaks nor helpful. I am giving Atkinson Pool and Spas a 1 only because there physical store in Mt Pleasant has been pleasant to work with. However there service department is a different story. I had my pool serviced due to a pump issue. They came out fixed the problem in 3 to 4 days. Granted my pool had not ran in that time. The pump worked for a day and it quit working. I called their service department on a Wednesday and they told me it would be the following Monday until someone could get out. I explained my pool may end up turning green and they had just been out. This did not matter in their eyes. That Thursday

Atkinson will tell you anything to get the deal. They will promise the world, but when it comes time to honor their workmanship, good luck. Multiple calls to the service department, in-person visits to the show room, and they still will not return a call to discuss a warranty issue. $60k for a pool and they can't even bother themselves to return a call. Disgraceful.
Seriously - they cut corners, skimp on the basics and pretend they don’t know you after they take your money. Horrible Service, and uninformed staff.
