Dont recommend at all. They were good at one point, but have really gone downhill. You go to a place like this for expert recommendations and good service. Both are missing. Only good part is the installer Shawn.
They still charge you the uphill steep price, but the so called experts miss the basics. Not to mention the sloppiness over getting anything done with them. Go to a more professional shop.

We decided to replace the old gas burner with a new wood stove, so we purchased one at the stove shoppe a little over 6 weeks ago. The installation was scheduled and the installers Sean and John showed up within the scheduled time. They had to replace the old 4" gas pipe and install the new 6" pipe for the new stove through the thimble in the roof. They were both very professional and knowledgeable. Answered any questions I had. They also left the area clean when finished. All said and done, they did a great job. Thanks Guys.

I'd really like to be able to provide a good review, because the stove, a Harman 52i-TC, is quite good. However, it started throwing a code for a bad sensor. When I consulted the manual, it says to call the technician. I called the store, and they gave me the service number. So far, so good. This was on a Saturday (11/6), techs are off until Monday.
On Monday, 11/8, I called the service number at 9:39 AM. I was told both techs were busy and given their voice mail. No problem. On Thursday, having heard nothing, I called back and got the voicemail again. Nothing. For kicks, I called

Stephanie (sales) and Sean (installation) were personable, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The Windham location also had everything I wanted to look at on display, and being able to see and operate these stoves in person made a world of difference.
On the sales side, the only downside was being told that the particular model of Heathstone stove I was looking at (Manchester) was in stock, only to learn after making the 45 minute drive to the store that it was actually backordered by a few months. But in the end, it was delivered when promised.

Do not buy anything from this place. Last year they sold me a very expensive brand new pellet stove. Took over 6 weeks to install. It worked for four months and the sliding door broke. They did come fix it free of charge. I asked them to clean it last spring too. Turned it on for the first time this week. The vacuum switch is broken. Called them to fix it and they can’t come for over a month. I’m supposed to have no heat for a month? With two young kids including an infant. They don’t care. I was told I would get warranty for years and 24/7 service and I have never been lied to so much. They

I have purchased two Propane stoves from The Stove Shoppe, one in January, 2020 and a second this past May, 2021. Both events were extremely satisfactory experiences in spite of the complex nature of this type of purchase. I found the salespeople to be knowledgeable and helpful in navigating the different types (Direct Vent/B-Vent) of stoves as well as the many different manufactures active in that industry. Recently had a pellet stove installed. The techs arrived on time and ready to work. They (Nate and Sean) were so thorough and knowledgeable! I gave them space to do their thing and when they were finished they called me into the room and explained EVERYTHING I needed to know. Since that day I have successfully run my pellet stove every night and most days, I couldn’t be more satisfied! - this review was made from my VERY warm and cozy living room ☺️

I just stopped by to inquire about a wood stove insert for my fireplace. Whoever helped me was both rude and condescending. Not a very nice customer experience. I already know something about the products and installation, when he quoted me $6-8k installed I had to laugh and just walk away. Stay far away from this place.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service that Sean and his helper provided on my Harman pellet stove. Sean provided a thorough cleaning and while doing so he noticed some safety concerns. Sean took it upon himself to make sure that all concerns were corrected to ensure safety for my family and I. Stove Shoppe will most certainly be doing my yearly maintenance going forward.

Updated April 5. We have had nothing but issues with this Harman Absolute stove ... and with The Service Department. Stove started making a loud noise after 2 months of having it. We immediately alerted the Epping shop where we bought it and they said they would have service contact us - a week later still no call. I call again and left messages - no call. 2 weeks later we had to shut the stove down because the noise is so loud - we call and finally get someone in the Windham NH location who can help. We get set up for a service call a week later. The tech comes - says he can't fix

We bought a stove from the stove shoppe this summer, but when we started burning this fall as it started getting colder, found out that the thermostat in the stove is not working right. The store acknowledges it is defective but won't come fix it for four weeks. In the meantime, we aren't using our stove. Very frustrating level of customer support.
Prices are pretty similar from store to store. Go somewhere else.
