I met with and reviewed five different HVAC companies to prepare for the replacement of my 2.5 ton Heat Pump System for downstairs. I selected these five companies based on online and neighbor reviews/recommendations.

I called Blake & Sons to check out my heat pump because I was hearing strange noises from it. Ryan showed up as scheduled. While he could not duplicate the sound it was making, he did check all moving parts as well as the compressor in both Heat and A/C modes. He found a few issues with my duct work which he repaired; he did a thorough job checking everything. And their prices were very reasonable. I will call them again if having problems and will recommend them to my neighbors and friends.

Phenomenal service!!! Called Blake and Sons at 10AM, Ryan answered my call while he was on a James Island service call. Told him that it wasn't an emergency but that I would like an estimate for a replacement HVAC. He said he could be in West Ashley 12-2PM. At 1PM he was inspecting my HVAC and quickly recognized that there was still lots of life in my unit. He performed a maintenance of my unit, made a few igniter adjustments, obtained electrical data, and replaced a leaking capacitor, and verified operation. Ryan's comprehensive knowledge and friendly customer service was exceptional

One of the truly hard to find service companies that offer excellent service that they build their business on. I left a desperate voice mail to Blake and Sons Heating and Air after another Air Conditioning Service had come three times to repair my air conditioning unit, and had told me I needed a new compressor. George answered my late afternoon call within a half hour, and promised to check out the air conditioner the next morning between 9-10:30. He arrived as promise

Our air conditioning was on the fritz on my husband found himself stumped by the issue. After trying to research it on his own, he finally decided to call someone for help. I don't know how he found this company but they were fantastic! We both appreciated that they are available 24/7 and the person my husband was connected with was very helpful and absolutely willing to just troubleshoot over the phone before forcing us to schedule someone to come out and see what the problem was.
Husband eventually got the issue sorted out and now we have air conditioning again!
