I came came across David because of an emergency. I could tell from the phone call he was a seasoned veteran and a straight shooter, which gave me the confidence to hire him. Out of the gate he offered a solution, and in a time frame that far exceeded by expectations. He came out, even though the timing was inconvenient for him, and basically saved the day. In my profession, I work with contractors and tradesman all over the country. David is a true craftsman and professional, it is very obvious that he cares about his work and the customer. He has 100% earned all my business going forward.

Dave was a life saver for us. The others we had called either didn’t have a suitable door etc, or had extremely long waiting lists. Dave showed up the next day, gave us a full assessment of our needs, and got the door and opener installed within a couple of hours the day after. Very professional, friendly and timely service. A package was delivered in the worst possible spot and, upon opening the gate without a clue there was a big package in the way, it got mangled in our electric gate making it completely inoperable. Thought for sure it blew out the motor. Contacted Dave at Idaho Door and Gate who promptly came out the next morning. He's nice guy who quickly assessed the battery was drained and replaced it. He inspected, cleaned and lubricated all the mechanisms. Dave showed us simple maintenance tips to keep our older system functioning smoothly since some parts are no longer available which would result in needing

We Called David at random and we’re so glad we did! He’s an awesome person to have around. He’s professional, he’s honest, and shows up when he says he will. He not only replaced our gate mechanism and key pad, but he went out of his way to instal self closing gate springs on our two front gates to help ease our minds and to keep Rudy ( our dog), safely inside the yard! Dave is a very enthusiastic and sociable guy, and he is very concerned about doing a great job for you. He came with our new garage door when he said he would, went right to work, and had the old door off and the new one installed in fairly short order. The new door looks great, and the new opener opens the door whisper quiet. There was a little bit of clatter in the opener when closing the door, so I asked Dave about that and he came right out the same day and within five minutes had it adjusted so it was just as quiet as when opened. Dave returned my text request within about FIVE MINUTES, and arrived on scene about two hours later. The other guys couldn't schedule me until next Tuesday. The garage door was an old 1950's style and I wasn't even sure it could be fixed, but he knew right what the issue was and was honest up front about the problems with an old door (including the unavailability of parts).
