We had our hot water heater die on us during one of the snow storms this year - inconvenient at best. I think the date was 2.18.2021. It was 15 years old, so it had a good life. Just a week prior, our neighbors had the same issue and gave David McGoldrick a call. They were very happy with his service, so we gave him a call as well. For both my neighbor and myself, David was out to replace our water heaters within 24 hours, each time during a snow storm. We could not have been happier with the end result, professionalism, and his quality work. Our water heater died on 2.18, and by midday on 2.19

Dave's assistant, Dan, came to repair a leaking valve and discovered that we had a leak in our stack pipe. Dave came to assess the situation and recommended we have someone with a fiber-optic scope look for the site of the break. That done, the other firm gave the results to Dave and we had him do the repair. He and Dan, starting around 9 AM, very neatly cut out a piece of wall to access the stack pipe, cut out the broken pipe and replaced it. By mid afternoon, they had finished the job and cleaned the area beautifully. The contractor who came to repair the wall and re-paint the room commented

My hot water tank went on me on a Thursday night with water gushing out of the top, causing a flood. Called the emergency line, David called me back within 30 seconds and coached me on what to do. Gave me a price on a new tank within seconds and was here the next day to install the new one and removed the old and debris. You wouldn't even know he was here, that's how clean everything was left. Since I'm a first time homeowner, I don't know everything, I learn as things break. Dave took the time to coach me on a few essentials that I needed to know, should I get a leak anywhere else. Super professional

I can't say enough good things about McGoldrick Plumbing, but I will try! Responsive (returns calls), professional service (clean, points out any issues while working immediately), fair pricing, courteous staff, used quality materials (i.e. copper vs PVC), hardworking (put in a full day virtually non-stop to get work done, punctual and willing to schedule a realistic time frame to visit home for service. Actually plumbing work is a work of art! I just redid my master bath and could not be more pleased with the work done.
