Bruce was so helpful last July when purchasing a Bullfrog A7 spa. From the delivery to helping coordinate the crane company - everything was smooth and professional.
I am writing this review to also express Bruce's continued support during a recent warranty replacement for the pump that stopped working. Things happen which is why there are warranties and he handled it immediately by sending a technician with a new pump. It is now working again and is ready for my family and guests to use again especially during this holiday/vacation time.

Let me start by saying we LOVE our Bullfrog M7 spa! My wife and two kids (16 and 14) get in every single night. It's probably the one time of the day that all of us are able to get together without screens to relax and share how our day was. Some days I even get in to start my morning...it's so peaceful and a great excuse to enjoy my backyard.
The M7 is so easy to maintain and keep at a perfect temp when we are ready to soak. The Frogease chlorine cartridges are super easy and keep the water clean and fresh smelling. We also added the sound system...which is an absolute must and

To be honest, the wait for our "covid" hot tub to arrive was TORTUOUS but, in hindsight, necessary. We purchased a Bullfrog hot tub from Bruce with three goals: 1) to partially bury it (18" into the ground), 2) to build a responsibly sourced, low-level deck around it, and 3) to integrate it into our California native plant-designed garden. After TOO many months, we finally achieved our goal. The deck is built using Thermory's amazing ash decking and the surrounding area is landscaped with native CA sunflowers and salvias (from the Theodore Payne Foundation) which are visually

If you are looking for a hot tub, I highly recommend you purchase it through Bruce at California Hot Tubs. He was so patient explaining the different options and technical terms to ensure I picked the spa that was right for our family. I never felt pressured to make a decision and was comfortable asking all of my questions during the selection process.

So happy with our spa and our treatment from Bruce and Sarah. They were very helpful in selecting the right tub, the right customizations and install.
Fast-forward a few years and some leaks developed. I contacted to Bruce and asked for a low cost referral to identify and repair the leaks. He said he'd do one better and said it's probably still under warranty. Sure enough, some fittings just needed to be tightened. It was under warranty and the spa continues to be great.

We had the best experience buying our hot tub from Bruce at California Hot Tubs. We were totally ignorant consumers and Bruce took us through every step with patience and thorough explanation. From describing our options, to planning our delivery, to helping us set it up, to tutoring us on maintenance. My cousin recently bought a spa from California Hot Tabs. It took a while to get it delivered due to COVID, as they were advised, but since it arrived the family is having a blast!
Overall it was well priced and totally worth it. If you don't have room for a swimming pool in your yard, you at least owe yourself a nice spa!

I'd wanted a hot tub for at least a decade for my steep, terraced backyard in Silver Lake. No one could figure out what kind to get, where I'd put it, or how I'd get it there - until I found Bruce at California Hot Tubs! I love my beautiful new wooden cedar tub, and am quickly making up for lost time. I had loads of options to choose from (covers, jets, heater types, controls) and Bruce walked me through them all clearly and patiently, and then helped with every aspect of installation and maintenance. Sarah was professional, knowledgable, friendly, patient and diligent. She answered my numerous questions with clear and complete responses, and was extremely patient when we had to put the decision on hold for over a month.

Amazing customer service, Bruce solved every issue we faced getting the hot tub in to a difficult location. His movers were efficient and courteous, his handyman build a ramp structure to assist with a difficult incline. Many other companies told me delivery wasn't possible and offered only craning which cost as much as the hot tub itself.
I love my bullfrog hot tub, it's a quality massage and ultimately life changing, it helps relieve stress and tiredness and makes me feel I have been away at aspa. Not to mention I sleep like a baby after I use it, and I look refreshed from a good

Bruce was very knowledgeable and informative on his products and has been simply a pleasure to work with from the beginning. I always felt he'd shoot me straight and follow through on his word. He did that and much more. His care for customer satisfaction is prioritized correctly.

My husband and I had plans to add one for a long time.
What I thought was cool about this place was they had environmentally friendly hot tubs; wood and fiberglass! Who would have known?
Also really competitive pricing and fast delivery.
I definitely would recommend them to a friend.
The only thing was the bathroom was in a closet...
I thought that was a bit weird but kudos on everything else!

And really am enjoying it as well as the family.
The sales guy was very helpful and patient as was their delivery crew.
I also used their wood decking guy for some build out and was equally
happy.
The worst thing I could say is I had to wait 3.5 weeks to get my spa built
and delivered, but worth the wait:) and if I had to do it over I might of
ordered the spa with the cover lift.

Went in to the California hot tub showroom and was happy to see some more modern looking spas than I've seen before, but they also sell the old retro looking wood hot tubs from the 80's. I ended liking the newer looking Bullfrog spas best, not just for the modern look but because it uses less electric and chlorine.
The spa they had there with water in it had no chlorine smell at all and I think just the modern look with cooler color choices separates is from the other hot tubs I've seen or been in. I would say it's worthwhile visiting this place when your looking at

First off, there's certain items you don't buy "used" or go cheap on... condoms and parachutes come to mind, but also in my opinion also Hot Tubs and Spas.
Hot Tubs are generally one time purchases, so you want something really reliable that has longevity and is of quality. It's that proverbial "set it and forget it" item that once you buy it, you want it to continue working without incident, low maintenance and easy to operate.
